Hina was waiting for her friends in the living room. She was messing around with her phone when the door bell suddenly rang. Hina sprang up from the leather couch she was laying on and rushed to the front door. Mia and Runa were waiting outside and instantly smiled when they saw Hina.
"Hi!" Hina greeted excitedly. Mia laughed at her enthusiasm.
"It's like you haven't seen us in 2 years even though it's barely been 2 hours," Runa said to her. Hina chuckled and moved out of the door way and gestured for Runa and Mia to come in. They entered the house and Hina walked back into the living room. The other two girls followed her and they all sat on the couch. An hour passed as they chatted while waiting for the other two girls.
"Karin and Reina should be here soon, right?" Runa asked Hina. Hina shrugged her shoulders before answering.
"I don't really know... hopefully," Hina said as she checked her phone. She was hoping to see a message from either one of the girls. Much to her dismay, neither of the girls had texted her. Hina was starting to get worried. She decided to text them herself in the group chat she created earlier that day.
Hina: Where are you guys??
She set her phone down and began talking to Mia and Runa again while she waited for a message. About 10 minutes passed before she received a response.
Reina: Is Karin with you guys?
Hina: No... Why?
Reina: I wanted to walk with her since it's getting dark but she's not answering her phone. She's not home either
Hina guessed that Karin gave Reina her address and Reina went there to walk with her. Hina's eyes went wide as she tried to think of where Karin was.
"Hina? What's wrong?" Runa asked when she noticed the look on her friend's face.
"Karin's not answering her phone... Reina asked if she was here" Hina answered as she spammed Karin's phone.
"Maybe she's just late" Mia suggested in an attempt to calm Hina down slightly. Hina couldn't figure out why but she had a feeling that it was more than just 'running late'.
