You jerked awake to the entire house being shaked, it wasn't like a earthquake, what was it? As you stretched you heard glass shatter and a male voice scream in pain. You jumped at the screams, you took off downstairs, running as fast a possible.
You reached the frount door and lying on frount of it was you boyfriend, Johnny was limped over, blood everywhere.
You ran over to him "Johnny!! Oh my gosh what hap-" he cut you off yelling "Y/N LOOK OUT!!" You spun around and caught you mother's eyes, she was hurting him! She threw the lamp and it smash into the door beside you and Johnny, she was drunk so not very good aim. You bent down beside Johnny "Look you have to leave! She's gonna kill you!" He lifted his head enough to look you in the eye "And leave you here taking her anger out on you, I don't thin- MOVE!!" He shoved me across the room as a coffee table was landing on top of him. You heard cracks then his moans of pain.
You ran back to him and pushed the table off, you could feel your eyes start to sting. You looked back at your mom "What are you doing!?!?" She exhaled and started walking twards you "HOW DID MY LIFE END UP LIKE THIS!!!? I HATE YOU!!! AND I HAD HIM! HE CAN'T HAVE YOU!!!" You looked back at him, he was too weak to speak but he did raise his finger to warn you that she was coming, it was to late.
She grabbed you by the neck and slammed you aginst the wall "YOU HAVE RUINED MY LIFE!! NOW YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME!!" she had alchole on her breath, it was horrible. She was squeezing you neck, you were bawlin by now, and starting to lose consciousness . All of a sudden you heard a bang and she fell to the ground, letting go of your neck. You opend you eyes to see Johnny weakly standing there with a frying pan in his hand, he hit her! You smiled and looked at you moaning mother, lying on the ground holding her head.
You grabbed Johnny's hand and threw it over your sholder to help him walk. You two walked all the way to the Curtis house.
You opend the door and walked in. You layed Johnny down on the couch and went to get a ice pack for his arm, where he shielded his face from the glass.
You ran into Darry in the kitchen. "Woah woah woah! What happend to you!?" He asked with a concerned look. You grabbed the metal pan sitting beside you and looked at yourself, you looked like crap, ×10! "Well, my mom beat the crap out of me an Johnny. But Johnny saved my life" he had his chin dropped. "Well where is Johnny?" Darry asked "he is laying on the couch in there" you pointed to the living room. Darry walked in there after you, Johnny looked real bad. "Darry can you look at him?" You asked and Darry nodded his head.
Darry bent down and started looked. After a while you found out nothing was broken, just brused really bad.
Johnny went outside and started swinging on the porch swing. You waited a few minuted then followed. You say down beside him "Thanks, ya know for everything" he smiled "Look I would do it again in a heartbeat for you y/n" You smiled. There was real awkward silience there for a little bit. Johnny broke the quiet "Hey uh, I was thinking, you know how long we've been together" you were confused "Yea, 4 years next month" he smiled "Yep. And that's real long. A-and y/n You know I would d-do anything any-anywhere for you" you were really confused now "Yea... I know" he rubbed the back of his neck and slid off the swing and onto one knee, he took out a little black box from his pocket.
Your eyes lit up, you knew what was happining. He smiled "y/n y/l/n will you ma-mar-marry me?" You smiled from ear to ear "Yes! Yes Johnny yes!" You have him a huge hug "Ow ow ow! " he said real quite, you pulled away "Oh I'm so sorry!" Then you two kissed and lived happily ever after!
