"I love you too" you called after him. He turned around, blew a kiss, and continued to walk off. You closed the door and walked into the living room. Your boyfriend of 3 years had just been drafted. He left enough money for rent in yalls apartment that yall share. You missed him already and he hadn't even left Tulsa yet. You decided to go hang out with his brothers and his friends. You figured it might make you feel a little better.
When you walked in Pony jumped up and hugged you "Uh. Pony? Your killing me..." you told him. He let go "Oh. Sorry" you smiled "Its fine."

It had only been a week and you felt so lonely. Soda always made you laugh. Even the stupidest of jokes were always so funny when he told them. Now its like you've lost your since of humor. Everytime someone yells a jokes you just fake a smile.

Sometimes you lay in bed at night staring at his side of the bed crying. Well you did that last night. You crawled out to bed and checked the clock '1:46 pm' you might as well get out of bed.
As soon as you opened the fridge to get a glass of milk, you heard a knock on the door.
You opened the door "Yep?" it was Dallas. "Hey Y/N! You need to get to the Curtis house right now!" you quickly put on your shoes "What? Why?" he looked panicked "Just come on!" "Im coming Im coming!" you said as you ran out the door.

You ran inside and saw Pony screaming at Darry "SODA'S DEAD DARRY!! DEAD!!! WE'RE ALL WE GOT LEFT. DON'T YOU THINK YOU CAN TREAT ME A LITTLE BETTER FOR... SODAPOP!!" His words cut you like a knife. Darry fell into the chair behind him. His face was wet and his eyes were bloodshot. You stood there frozen "Dead..." everyone turned to look at you. They hadn't noticed you were there. "Oh Y/N im soooo sorry" Pony said as he wrapped his arms around you. You just stood there. You felt bad for not hugging back but you couldn't move. You couldn't think. You couldn't hear anything. You couldn't see anything.
All of a sudden you heard a faint whisper in your ear. "Im so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you" the voice was so firmilar. Steve walked up to you "Hey Y/N, it'll be ok. Can you come with me for a minute?" you nodded your head and followed him into the kitchen. "Soda promised he would come back, but in case he didn't... I helped him hide this letter and he told me to give it to you" he said as he pushed the fridge forward a little bit, and pulled out two envelopes. One said My Love and the other said Her Love. You looked up at Steve confused "The one that says my love is for you to read. It should also explain the other one." with that he left. As soon as he was gone you ripped open the one addressed to you.

You whipped your eyes with your sleeve and layed your head on the table as the waterworks kicked in. You heard footsteps and felt a hand on your back. You looked up to see a crying Steve. You sniffed and leaned on his shoulder as yall cried on each other...

You woke up to your 2 year old daughter, Kit. "Mommy, I don't feel so good." you yawned "Ok. Lets go take your temperature." you glanced over at the clock '2:23 am'. You picked her up "Ok lets go" you started to walk out the bedroom door "Hey babe? Everything ok?" Your boyfriend asked from the bed. "Everything's fine hun" you said as you started walking down the stairs. "My tummy don't fee-" before Kit could finish her sentence she threw up all down your legs. She burst our in tears and your boyfriend dashed by your side. "Here ill take her. Go change" he said as he took our daughter into his arms and rushed her into the bathroom.
You got changed and went into the bathroom to see how she was doing. You saw your boyfriend holding her hair back while she vomits in the toilet. He is rubbing his hand on her back when he sees you standing in the doorway smiling "What? Am I doing something wrong?" you walked in and sat beside him and Kit. "No. Your doing perfect" he smiled. "I think im done." Kit said as she whipped her mouth on toilet paper. "Ok baby ill put you in-" then your boyfriend cut in "Nah. I got it. You go on to bed" you nodded and went to bed.
Once your boyfriend came back into the room you were sitting up with an envelope addressed to Her Love . He looked at it, then back at you. "Steve, will you read this please?" you said handing him the envelope. He took it from your hand and began to read. He was reading quite but you could still hear him...

I wish I could meet you, or maybe I already have. I don't know. You should know that she really loves you. She would not have given you the letter if she didn't. You better treat her perfect and makeher happy. If you ever hurt her ill find a way to punish you. She is a amazing and you mean the world to her. Don't you dare break her heart. Me and you share a lovely house and we have a beautiful daughter. I will always love you Steve." he smiled and at the moment you felt a cool breeze brush across your face causing you to smile.
