Chapter six

12 years later ___________________________________________________________________________________

Roxy's POV

I was exausted. Mother had just used the cruciatus curse on me. Again. This time it was 'For looking too much like my father.' My father. I can barley remember him and Mother will tell me his name but has a look of disgust everytime she mentions his name. But I do know that he is 33 years old, has sandy hair and hazel eyes and is a werewolf like me. I can remember his laugh too and I know his nickname is Moony and he was a prankster so to be honest I am just like him. Except that I'm a girl and about to go into my third year at Hogwarts. Most kids hate going to school and being away from their parents. Me? I can't wait to get away from Mother. She insists I call her Mother. If I don't, I just get another beating. I can't stand the woman but I never scream when she tortures me. That would show I was weak. Unfortunately, Mother now has a boyfriend and I hate him. He's the one who killed Harry's parents. Peter Pettigrew. He joins in with the punishment now. Because of him, I have one long jagged scar running down my back and the word FREAK etched into my forearm. How am I supposed to hide that at school?

Speaking of school, my best friends are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Wealsey. I know now that Dad was best friends with Harry's Dad so it was quite a coincidence that we became so close. You should have seen the teachers faces when my name was read out at the sorting, Minnie (Professor McGonnagall) Almost had a heart attack! I was supposed to be dead, well, that's what they thought, Mother kidnapped me and put about that I was dead so that was a shock for them! I am THE prankster at Hogwarts, I take after Dad way more than people expect me to. I'm clever but I put those brains to pranks as well as school work and I love to read. Anyway, back to the present.

"Roxy! Get your stuff ready for Hogwarts, we're leaving in twenty minuites!" Mother screeched

HOORAY! Hogwarts, here I come!

Hey guys, that was kind of a filler chapter so you get an idea of what her life is like and what she is like. I promise it will get more interesting!
