Roxy's POV
Dad drew up some chairs and I took the chair between Dad and Uncle Sirius. Harry narrowed his eyes at me and I gulped, I am in so much sh-
"Now where do we begin?" Dad asked, cutting across my thoughts.
"Well, the beginning would be a good place" Harry said. I don't know whether I should be proud that I taught him sass or angry that he used it against my Dad. I went with the former, not wanting to be too angry with Harry.
"Well yes, so, as you know, at the start of Lily and James going into hiding, Sirius was in fact the secret keeper. But not at the end, he wasn't the secret keeper on the 31st October." Dad explained calmly
"Yes he was! He sold them to Voldemort, he's a death eater!" Harry shouted, not believing a word Dad had said.
"Look!" Uncle Sirius said pulling up his sleeves.
"No mark!" He said and I felt bad for him, I don't think that was going to convince Harry.
"Well maybe he didn't need to give you the mark because you were his right hand man!" Harry cried, trying to find some way of accusing Uncle Sirius, but I could tell he was getting desperate.
"Look I wasn't the secret keeper that night, Peter Pettigrew was! He was the death eater, he sold your parents to Voldemort!" Uncle Sirius explained.
"LIES! YOU BETRAYED THEM!" Harry yelled, going red in the face, still not believing a word they said.
"We can prove Sirius didn't do it if you give us your rat Ron!" Dad said exasperatedly.
"No! What's Scabbers got to do with this?!" Ron asked, his voice getting weaker towards the end.
"If we are right, which I am almost completely certain we are, we will cast a spell on your rat, which won't hurt it if it is a rat, and it will force Peter to transform into his human form because he is an animagus!" Dad said, shocking us all. I'd lived with the scum bag for years and not known.
"You didn't know that, did you?" Dad asked, not accusingly, sympathetically because he thought I would be feeling guilty about it later. Which I probably would. I shook my head in response to his question.
"Why would Roxy know about this?" Hermione asked
"Because Peter Pettigrew is my Mothers boyfriend and I've lived with him for years. A deadly silence met my words.
"So are they telling the truth?" Ron asked me
"Yes, and to prove it, just give them your rat." I told him and, finally, Ron handed over the rat, no matter how reluctantly.
Dad pulled out his wand and put the rat on the table, as soon as he let go, the rat tried to bolt for it but after a few attempts, Dad hit him with a spell and it was like someone had pressed fast forward on a remote. All the fur shot back into the skin and he grew and the clothes materialised on his body.
In front of us stood the man who had helped to make my childhood hell. He had watery blue eyes, he was dumpy with mousy blonde hair and a sheen of sweat was visible on his forehead.
"R-Remus, S-Sirius, my old friends!" He stuttered and lunged towards the door and Dad threw him back into the middle of the room.
"Ah, Peter, you probably didn't hear us discussing what happened the night Lily and James died as you were squeaking and wriggling around." Dad said cooly.
"Remus! You don't actually believe his story do you? He tried to kill me!" Peter squeaked pathetically.
"Oh, please, if uncle Sirius wanted to kill you, you'd be dead by now. He was blinded by guilt last time and he doesn't have a wand with him now, it's on the bed by Ron. And no matter what he says Uncle Sirius would never kill anyone because he knows he would be sinking to the level of a death eater if he did, sinking to your level. " I stated and I heard gasps behind me.
