M'kay, I'm dedicating this paragragh to mulette, I hope nobody minds. And further into this chapter, there will be some heated stuff, I'll give a heads up right before the scene.

Laf's pov

I sat on the small couch while Herc wrote some stuff down for his fashion class. For a huge, strong guy, he's really a giant softie, kind of like those big fluffy teddy bears. I giggled at the comparison.

"What's funny, Laffy?" He asked. I blushed at the nickname.

"Meh, just thinking about y-stuff!" I finished the end of my sentence quickly, hoping Herc wouldn't notice. I saw a slightly pink tint on his cheeks, but it went away quickly, and he went back to writing.

Herc's pov

I'm hoping, no, praying that Laf was thinking about me. Well, good things at least. I met him in high school, we were both 15. He was a transfer from France, only knew a small amount of english, and was pretty shy. Luckily, Alex taught me french, and I had a full on conversation with him. We've been bestfriends ever since that day. I've also kind of developed a very big crush on him. I really wanted to spend time with him, but I needed to get this assignment done.

"Erm, mon ami?" I jumped. I must've been so deep in thought I didn't hear him walk over.

"What's up, french fry?" I asked him.

"Erm, well, I wanted to see how your project was going, so I looked at the paper, and, umm..." Wait, why was he blushing so much? I decided to look at my paper to see what was bothering him, and....well, fuck.

-the history of clothing goes back to some of the first primates. They would hunt, skin, and eat their prey. These primates then used the skin and fur for warmth. Lafayette, Lafayette, Lafayette♡.-

Great. Just fucking great. While thinking about Lafayette, I had accidentally written his name instead of my project. And a heart. Why not? All I could do was blush. A lot. Laf looked at me, also blushing.

"Ummm...." Was all I could say. I looked at the ground, extremely embarrassed. I really hope this doesn't ruin our friendship. Man, I might've really fucked up this time...

"Mon ami, maybe you should take a break from your project. You seem, erm, tired. Watch a movie with me, s'il vous plaît?" Laf asked. I sighed with relief and smiled at him. Yes, things are awkward, but nothing's broken. Thank god Laf is so friendly.

After choosing a movie, we settled down on the couch. Laf got a giant blanket, wrapped it around himself, and put his arm around me, so we were both covered. This should give me butterflies, but we've been doing it for years, and it's our movie night tradition, so it wasn't that bad.

"So, what movie did you pick, Laf?" I asked. He smirked at me. Oh boy.

"La belle et la bête, the newer version. It was released today and I picked it up, did you see it in the theatre?" He asked. I shook my head. I almost never go to the movie theatre, I've never been totally fond of it.

"Ooo, you'll love it!" Laf squealed.

When we got to the near end of the movie, the Beast got shot by Gaston, and Belle mourned him. Laf started weeping slightly, so I pulled him into a hug. The ending was very cute, and by then Laf had wiped away the last of his tears.

"So, what'd you think?" He asked me.

"It was really nice, I loved the part where the magic lady bought the Beast back to life." I replied.

"The magic lady?" Laf started laughing hysterically. God, he was so beautiful. His infectious laugh caused be to start giggling, too.

"I'm glad you liked it, mon ami." He said. We met each other's eyes. We both had chocolate brown eyes, but something about his were different. Light danced and reflected off of them, like small orbs of fire in a dark sky.

(Warning: From this point on, the situation will get a bit heated. Be prepared!)

He was so beautiful, it was crazy. I slowly leaned in, Laf doing the same. We were centimeters apart, and I could almost taste his sweet, minty breath. His eyes flickered down to my lips, and quickly back to my eyes. I did the same. They were so perfectly shaped...

"Hercules?" He asked, his voice deeper and quieter than usual.

"Hmm?" I asked, my voice also low.

"C-can I kiss you?" He asked. I would've said yes, but my answer was expressed by smashing my lips onto his. He was surprised, but kissed back right away. His lips were so soft and smooth, like silk. Our lips moved perfectly in unison, and fit together like two perfect puzzle pieces. He put his arms around my shoulders, and I held his waist.

We pulled away for air, our foreheads touching. Laf looked at me a giggled.

"That was...incroyable." He said, blushing and smiling.

"Not as amazing as you, mon amour." I replied. He turned an even deeper red. I chuckled.

He rolled his eyes and giggled. "You dork, your accent is terrible." He said. I giggled, and he kissed me. This one was more passionate. This night turned out a lot better than I'd ever hoped it would...

We pulled away, and looked into each other's eyes.

"Well, that wad unexpected, hmm?" I said, and he laughed.

"Oui, unexpected but very nice." Laf smiled. This dork, I can't even.

"We have classes tomorrow, and I need sleep. Bonne nuit, je t'aime." Laf said.

I nodded and yawned. I didn't realize how tired I was. "Je t'aime." I replied, and turned off the light. We just fell asleep on the couch, Laf lying in my lap.
