i laid in bed, mary and jayce's head on my chest as they slept peacefully. i looked over at my husband to find him already looking at me. our daughter was asleep in his arms, tiny fingers wrapped around his finger. tessa and abby were laying at the foot of the bed, tails wagging as they waited for the three children to wake up and play with them.
"i love you," i whispered, a huge smile on my face.
"i love you more," tom whispered back.
