There's a faint giggle that enters my ears. I shift in my bed moving my body to my other side. A few other mutters break through my comfortable sleep. My eyelids heavy, I force them open to have the morning light shine into my eyes. I groan and push my head down into my pillow with a thump.
The body heat that I normally feel near me on regular mornings was missing. I lift my head up, turning to the right. The bed was vacant, the sheets wrinkled and thrashed around from last nights activities. I heard another series of giggles from outside the bedroom door. Are there people here?
I gather the sheets to cover my exposed body. My toes collide with the softness of the carpeted floors. I search the drawers for new clothes and immediately dress myself. Then I walk out the room to the kitchen.
There are three person sitting at the little table. Minjae has a smile on his face while he is conversing with two other women.
"Taeyeon, you're awake." Minjae said. The two women stop chatting and glance over their shoulders. They beam at my appearance into the room. I realize that the two women are my group members, Seohyun and Tiffany.
"What are you guys doing here?" Tiffany and Seohyun look at each other briefly then they stand and walk towards me.
"We stopped by while you were sleeping and decided to wait until you woke up to tell you the news." Seohyun softly smiled at me.
"What news?" I tilt my head up.
"We are going to the Seoul Music Awards next Thursdays." The manager could've called me to let me know that we were going to attend. That's what normally happens unless this isn't any "normal" case.
"There's one more thing." Tiffany and Seohyun shared matching toothy smiles, a sparkle in their eyes.
"The award show also specially invited Minjae to join us."
"What?" Only artists and actors were in attendance for these events as either nominees or presenters. To have a non-celebrity as a guest has never occurred before.
"Yeah! The public is very curious to see the man that captured Kim Taeyeon's heart." Everyone knew who I was married to. It has yet to happen that we would stand in front of cameras together.
"You mean Mrs. Shin Taeyeon." Minjae voiced out with a smug look, placing his arm on my shoulders.
"Of course." Tiffany said. "So how about it? Are you joining us, Mr. Shin?" I look up at him.
"I don't mind using my vacation time for the momentous occasion." He beamed down at me.
"Are you sure?" He kissed my cheek.
"I wouldn't miss the opportunity to escort my gorgeous wife to an event and show her off as mine."
"You two will definitely be the top talk of the night." Tiffany clapped her hands together.
"They'll love you." Seohyun smiled.

Minjae is invited? If only people knew about her husband.
Baekhyun and EXO are definitely going to be there as previously hinted.
