"Is this your husband?" The camera people asked as I held onto my husband's forearm. The red carpet under my feet. We walked straight to the area for a photo opportunity. Fans screaming nearby.

"Taeyeon! Taeyeon!" The multiple camera shutters went off as we stood in front smiling for them.

Minjae is in a black tuxedo with a neat ruby red bow tie. While I'm in a mid-length white dress with matching high heels. Red lipstick painted on my lips.

Seohyun and Tiffany joined us in the pictures after me and Minjae finished. A women and man appear to take a mini interview of us as nominees for the Popularity Award.

After, we venture into the venue in search for our respective seating. There are multiple black clothed tables laid out near the first stage. Fans are behind the extended stage, cheering at every arrival of their favorite artists.

One of the staff members motioned our spots at a table nearest to the stage on my left along with the Red Velvet members. We greet them and I introduce Minjae to the girls.

For the next 20 minutes, more idol groups show up at the event. Awaiting for the show the start, Tiffany is on her phone texting Nichkhun and Seohyun is talking with the girls of Red Velvet.

Everyone was chatting away at other tables when a certain group entered the scene. The audience boomed and fellow idols went quiet. The EXO members flood into the room smiling as fans cheer, hollering their names.

Baekhyun is the second to last member I see. He smile doesn't flatten when we make eye contact but his eyes change. The light in them dim like they are being overshadowed by something.

It has been sometime since I've seen Baekhyun. After the incident with Minjae, I decided it was best I didn't mentor him anymore. I called the manager to break the news, him and the company weren't too happy. It was short notice.

However, they gladly found a replacement for Baekhyun. Everything was sorted out once the call ended.

I thought I would feel a sense of relief from no longer teaching him because it meant Minjae wouldn't worry and less workload. Instead, it felt like I lost something I was passionate about.
And I couldn't take it back.

"What's wrong?" Minjae whispers, he holds me close to him. I abandon my thoughts.

"Nothing. I'm just a bit tired." He kisses my cheek.

"Maybe we had a bit too much fun this morning." He chuckled into my ear.

"Did you have fun?" He lowered his voice, caressing my thigh. This wasn't the right time to do this. I glance over at the other girls at the table. They are preoccupied with each other's company. Minjae's hand started advancing into my inner thigh, his uneven breath falling into my right ear. I begin to panic. Even if no one at our table is watching, it doesn't mean that the cameras aren't.

I quickly place my hand over his in order to stop his hand from moving any further up. I entwine our fingers together then lean over to peck his lips. I don't get to see his facial expression before the lights lower down.

I feel like this chapter is a filler one. I mean it gathers Taeyeon's thoughts and sets everything up. Let's see what happens next.
