Can't We Be Seventeen

Ram anxiously pulled out hand, wishing he wore a watch so he could check the time before he knocked on the door of the Kelly household, it had a about a week since the incident with Kurt and he was still high on life. The door in front of him slowly opened to reveal Kurt's 13 year old little sister, Katie.

"What's up Squirt?" Ram said through a chuckle as she let him inside the house.

"Why is it always you?" Katie said jokingly sticking her tongue out at Ram. Ram smirked as he slipped off his shoes and took of his varsity jacket.

"Because I'm the coolest" Ram said shrugging as he backed away slowly before turning on his heel to head to Kurt's room. He walked down the hallway, stopping at the first door of the right and knocking just to be polite but letting himself in seconds later.

"Hey" Kurt said smiling at Ram and looking up from the vocabulary work he was procrastinating doing.

"Hi" Ram said back, dumping his crap by Kurt's desk and sitting down on the edge of the bed.

"What do you think your doing nerd?" Kurt said eyeing Ram. "Get over here" He finished with a smile. Patting the spot next to him on the mattress. Ram scooted next to Kurt, nervously. They hadn't talked much about the kiss since it happened and Ram knew them being gay was a dangerous situation for them both. But still it stuck in Ram's mind, pressuring him to bring it up.

"Kurt?"

"Yeah?"

"What are we?" Ram asked "I mean we've kissed and you say you like me and I know I'm hella homo for you so what are we doing?"

At first Kurt didn't say anything. He just smiled and pondered. He didn't really have an answer. He wanted to be with Ram and kiss him all the time but he knew Ram's dad would disown him for being gay and that was the last thing Kurt wanted. "I don't know, Ram" Kurt said looking into Ram's blue eyes and smiling. He put his hand down of Rams for support and grasped it tightly. This is all he wanted.

Ram smiled a little too but it was clouded with an ounce of confusion and sadness. " I want to be happy with you Kurt" he said. He slowly scooted closer to Kurt and wrapped his arm. Holding him tightly as Kurt looked up at him again. "Fuck it. I don't really care if my dad doesn't love me for me, because at least I'll have you and that's enough"

Kurt smiled. "I'm so into you right now" He leaned up and forward slightly until his lips meet Rams. This kiss was quick before he pulled away for a second and said "I just want to be seventeen with you" before kissing Ram again. This time slightly more passionately, before Ram pulled away and pressed his forehead to Kurt's.

"That's not so hard to do."
