Enzo was your best friend. He protected you. he only did that with people he was close with , otherwise he could careless.
you on the otherhand , didn't like helping. it wasn't that you hated your friends or that you were better than everyone else. It was more how they used you for your powers. every single time someone was in danger you and Bonnie were the pawns in the plan.
Enzo hated that. but he loved you with everything he had. he didn't know how to tell you , maybe that's why he stands here in your living room , arguing with you.
" I can handle myself , Lorenzo." you said , hands firmly on your hips. glaring at the vampire.
" I'm aware of that love , but your still human and it scares me to lose you !" his voice echoed around you.
" Why do you care so much ?" you cross your arms this time. raising a brow. intrigued by the answer you would receive.
" You're my best friend , we've spent years knowing each other ! I've spent years getting feelings for you , and keeping them at Bay because I didn't know if you'd feel the same or not !" he says , his brown eyes doe like and full of love.
you stood before him shocked. but before you could deny anything , you take his face in your hands and give him a long kiss , shock washed over him but in the same instant it was replaced with him returning the kiss , his hands placed gently on your hips.
" I love you , y/n." he says finally saying the three little words that have caused him much pain in his past.
" and I love you." you said , smiling gently. looking up at him with beautiful e/c eyes.
this is all because of a heated confession between two best friends. and it was a beautiful sight to see. finally , their friends would cheer.
