Damon didn't reply , bringing you out to the dance floor , he swayed with you , twirling you around like a princess/prince. a laugh fell from your lips , and he smiled , genuinely. he pulled you close again.
" Elena and I broke up , we came separately to the party , because I missed my best friend. you've been by my side for years and I took that for granted and abandoned you like I promised I wouldn't. "
