I woke up around eight to get showered and ready for the day. I put my bikini on and then a sundress over it. I headed through the house to see if Griff was awake yet. I found him on the couch watching television and eating cereal. 

"sleep good" I asked him.

"great, I thought dad was picking me up" he asked.

"he came but you were passed out so I told him I would take you home after Ashley's appointment, he said we could all go in the pool and have lunch" I said.

"awesome" he smiled.

"when you're done eating we will get your things and head to pick up Ashley" I smiled.

"I'm done" he said finishing off his bowl.

I threw his dishes in the dish washer and he headed to grab his bowl. We both met up at the front door. we headed out and got into the car and drove towards Ashley's house. Ethan was working today so I offered to take Ashley to her appointment. Griff and I picked her up and drove through town to the doctor office. Ashley was talking to Griff about his interests as I parked outside the doctor office. We got out of the car and went inside. Griff and I sat in some chairs as Ashley checked in. we waited for a good fifteen minutes before they pulled Ashley back. Griff and I went back with her since they were just doing an ultrasound to make sure everything was going good.

The doctor got started as Griff and I watched closely. You could see the baby on the monitor.

"I can tell you the gender if you would like to know" the doctor said.

"already" Ashley asked.

"yes, you are far enough along" the doctor smiled.

"yes, I'd like to know" Ashley said.

"it's a little girl" the doctor smiled.

"oh my gosh" Ashley said softly.

"wipe the lube off your belly and we will get you right out" the doctor said.

I smiled as the doctor left and Ashley got herself up and cleaned the lube off her belly.

"a baby girl" I smiled.

"what are you going to name her" Griff asked.

"rebel Rayne" Ashley said.

"nice" I smiled.

"I like it" Griff smiled.

Ashley got ready to leave and we walked out of the room and down to the counter. Ashley checked out and signed off on her paperwork. We headed out to the car and got in.

"you taking him home" Ashley asked about griffin.

"after I take you home" I smiled.

"I'm ready for a long soak in the tub" Ashley smiled.

"we're gonna go in the pool" Griff told Ashley.

"that sounds fun" Ashley smiled.

I figured it would be best not to tell Ashley what was going on with Sid being as I didn't want to stress her out.

I drove Ashley home and watched her get out and head up to the house. I pulled my phone out after she entered the house and texted Corey.

Tay: on my way to your house.

Corey: impatiently waiting.

I smiled and headed to Corey's. once we got there I parked and helped griffin get his stuff out of the car. We walked up to the door and griffin opened it walking inside. I followed and handed him his bag as he carried it to his room and I walked into the kitchen. Corey's back was to be and he was singing softly as he made food. I sat at one of the barstools and rested my chin in my hands as I watched him.
