~Two weeks later~

"this was a good idea" Ashley smiled.

"I know" I said laying on the beach towel by Ashley's pool.

"my baby bump needs a tan" she laughed.

"where is Ethan" I asked.

"he decided to have a BBQ so he went to go grab the meat, just so you know he invited slipknot" she said.

"that's fine" I said.

"still not talking to Sid" she asked.

"haven't seen him since the whole fall out" I said.

"what if his girlfriend comes, will that be awkward" she asked.

"nope, I don't want him so it's just fine" I said.

Ashley smiled and laid quietly sunbathing. After about thirty minutes we heard loud noises. I sat up in time to see a kid jump into the pool. I looked into the pool to see griffin. He smiled to me when he came up out of the water. I stuck my tongue out at him.

"can you come have movie night with us tonight" griffin asked.

"I'll talk to your dad" I smiled.

"awesome, that means yes" he laughed.

I rolled my eyes with a smile. I heard the guys coming out to the back. I looked over to see Sid and his girlfriend walk out, she was clinging to his hip. Corey was bringing up the rear with a cooler in his hands. He set the cooler by the picnic tables as Ethan began getting everything set up.

"you look familiar" Sid's girlfriend Chelsea said pointing to me.

"she shouldn't" Ashley replied.

"you came to Sid's house before" she smiled.

"yea, to say hi" I said keeping my sunglasses on and looking at the sky.

"did he tell you we moved in together" she asked.

"didn't even know you were a thing" I said flatly.

"oh my gosh yea, I'm hoping he Wifey's me soon" she said.

"like oh my gosh, good luck" Stacey said coming over and joining me on my beach towel.

"hello love" I smiled to her.

"I missed your badass face" she smiled.

"did I scare her off" Stacey asked me.

"yes, she went back to Sid" I laughed looking at Chelsea.

"good, thank god" Stacey laughed.

"I'll be back, piss break" I smiled getting up.

I headed into the house and walked down the hall to the kitchen. I got a glass of water and sipped on it a bit. I felt a hand on my lower back and turned to see Shawn.

"we should talk thumper" he said.

"what did I do" I asked.

"Corey came to me the other day, to talk, he told me some things, I think he might be worried about talking to you about it" he said.

"what" I asked.

"Corey is developing feelings for you, I think part of him is worried you might still be hung up on Sid, but I wanted to talk to you and see where you stand" he said.

"I don't want Sid, and I'm not hung up on him. although part of me still wants to throat punch him for using me" I said.

"what about Corey" he asked.
