~Four years later~

I haven't talked to anyone in slipknot since I moved away. I left every bit of that life in the rearview mirror. Ashley and I have kept in contact the entire time. she doesn't talk to me about slipknot though, we made a deal that we would pretend it never happened. I talked to corey's kids for a bit until corey and Stephanie got back together and the kids started seeing scarlett again. It was easier to let them go to live their lives than to hold on and hear about everything corey was doing. Especially since he didn't feel sorry for his actions at all, he jumped right into Stephanie not even three weeks after I left.

Im back in their territory though, Ashley sent me an invitation for rebel's fourth birthday and rebel called me begging me to come. I couldn't say no to her. so here I am, pulling into ashley's driveway, the party is already under way and I know for a fact that I will run into someone from slipknot because I know they are still part of ashley's life.

I parked and got out of the car. I walked up to the house and walked in without knocking because its ashley's house and I've never knocked on her door. I stepped in and the room fell silent.

"oh my god" Stacey said seeing me.

She got up and hugged me tight. I hugged back.

"hi stace" I smiled.

"hey shorty" mick said hugging me.

"hi" I smiled.

"how the fuck are you" Stacey asked me.

"im good" I laughed.

"four years you fucker" she said tearing up.

"don't cry, because ill cry" I laughed.

"hey tay" Ashley smiled hugging me.

"hi, where's my girl" I asked.

"out back on the trampoline" Ashley smiled.

"I need to see my midget, excuse me" I said heading to the back.

Corey and Stephanie were in the kitchen.

"tay" corey said as I headed through.

"yea, hi" I said and kept walking.

I got out back and stopped as I approached the trampoline. Sid was on the trampoline with rebel. He was playing with her and they were both laughing. I walked up and leaned near the entrance.

"I heard someone over here is turning four" I said catching their attention.

Sid looked shocked to see me. rebel dropped from his arms and ran full speed at me.

"aunt tay, I miss you so much" she said hugging me.

"I missed you, you're so big" I smiled.

"I know, im this many" she said holding four fingers up.

"I know, you said all you wanted was me here, so here I am" I smiled.

"you're staying" she asked.

"for a bit" I smiled.

"im telling mommy" she said running to the house.

Sid got off the trampoline and was standing next to me.

"can I hug you" he asked.

"would I deny you" I laughed.

He hugged me tight, I wrapped my arms around him as he ran his hands into my hair and pulled me to kiss him. my hands grasped his sides as I kissed back.
