Secret meetings for the suit

I've talked to Sid every day since he left. I spent the day today with Ashley planning baby stuff and figuring out what all she's going to need. She found an apartment that she's moving into on Monday with Ethan. Sid already offered to help if she needs it so I guess that is what we will be doing Monday afternoon. It's now 4pm and I am sitting on my couch talking to Ashley about how fake her hair extensions she bought to try out look.

"I'm just telling you it looks like plastic hair, like Barbie doll hair" I said.

"it does not, stop being negative" she laughed.

"I'm not being negative I'm being honest" I laughed.

My phone rang I looked down and saw an unknown number.

Tay: hello.

Unknown: hey tay, its Steph, Corey's wife.

Tay: hey, how are you?

Steph: I'm good, I have what you need, I was wondering if you'd want to join me for dinner and pick it up.

Tay: sure, just text me the address.

Steph: alright I'll see you soon.

Tay: bye.

I hung up and waited for the text. Ethan came in while I was sitting there. Finally, the text came through and I stood up.

"going to get some things from Corey's wife" I said.

"Sid's Corey" Ashley asked.

"yes, but Sid can't know so keep quiet if we see him before the show or if he calls" I said.

"alright" she smiled.

I headed out the door leaving her and Ethan to make out on the couch. I drove to Steph's house and parked. I knocked on the front door. griffin opened it.

"hey griffin" I smiled.

"hey tay, Steph is setting the table" he said letting me in.

I followed griffin into the dining room to see Steph setting the last place.

"just in time" she smiled hugging me.

"thanks for inviting me over" I said.

"no problem, I was gonna call you yesterday but Corey told me you were helping your friend" she smiled.

"yea, she just found out she is expecting her first baby" I smiled.

"oh my gosh you'll have to let us know the gender, Corey's ex still has baby clothes from griffin and aravis that I'm sure she would give to her" Steph said.

"that would be great" I said.

"she going to stay at your place still?" Steph asked as we sat down with the kids.

"no, her and the father got an apartment, Sid and I are helping them move in there Monday" I said.

"does he know you're going to the show" she asked.

"no, he keeps asking and I leave him hanging" I laughed.

"are you wearing his mask" griffin asked.

"I'm going to wear his whole suit" I said.

"awesome" aravis laughed.

"I think he's going to be ecstatic to see you in the entire get up" Steph smiled.

"can I ask you something" I looked over at Steph.

"anything" she said.

"how do you deal with Corey being away for days at a time" I asked.
