"You can never grow old and wise if you were never young and crazy." – A quote I spotted on a stranger's T- shirt

My watch read 10:30 when my phone began violently vibrating in my back pocket. I jumped up from my seat on the mall fountain, pulling out my phone I saw a number of texts from Crow and Robin.

Crow: What movie do you people want to see?

Robin: I vote Dr. Strange

Crow: Your opinion don't count

Robin: What?! Why?

Crow: Because we can see the movie later or you can pay for it, either one works for me.

As I read through the messages I couldn't help but giggle.

Robin: That's not fair! I thought we were all watching a movie together!

Angela: Dudes

Crow: Why are we discussing this, you are standing right next to me?!

Robin: You started it.

Crow: I was asking everyone else!

Robin: Then why are you still texting me?

Crow: [PROFOUND LANGUAGE]

I was full on laughing now and had to cover my mouth because of the stares I was beginning to receive from bystanders.

Angela: 0.0 Dudes

Misaki: I don't mean to interrupt but may someone please remind me where in the mall we are supposed to be meeting?

I quickly text back a reply to Misaki and sat back down. Shockingly, I was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a comfy t-shirt vs. my usual attire. Though that could truly be blamed on the fact it was cold enough to freeze blood outside.

The mall was filled with its usual Saturday morning activity. I heard Misaki's heels tapping against the floor before I spotted her. She looked quite warm in her long skirts and lacy long sleeve shirt.

Misaki paused a few feet away from me with wide eyes. "Did I overdress?"

I smiled at her, "No, Misaki, you're good. It's just when it starts getting cold I get lazy with my outfit choices."

Misaki giggled before sitting down on the fountain next to me. She stopped for a moment with wide eyes before turning to me, "Oh, I apologize. Is it alright if I sit here?"

I couldn't help but chuckle, "It's fine, Misaki. We're friends. You can just flop down next to me whenever you see me."

Misaki was wide-eyed a moment. She seemed to be in a situation in which she did not properly know how to react. Soon, however, her eyes softened and was joined with a warm smile.

"You're such an interesting person, Mickey," Misaki told me as her eyes turned away from me to watch the crowds of people going about their business.

I paused a moment, allowing my mouth to fall open and close a few times before finally speaking, "Thank you."

We sat in a relaxed silence while we waited for the others to arrive. A comfortable silence fell between us.

"Hello!" Robin called out to us ten minutes later, wearing his usual I-know-something-you-don't-know smile.

"Late much?" I asked the two brothers as they got closer.

"Oh shove off," Crow replied as he flopped down next to me in the space that was not occupied. Robin seemed content with standing.
