I scrolled into the warehouse beyond heated. We had a deal and I can't believe this asshole played me out to be a fool. Too much work. Too much clean-up.
"Joe!?" My voice ringed throughout the whole abandoned building.
Workers didn't even pay me no mind nor did they tell where he was located.
Others that seem interested, more so annoyed, looked at me like I was crazy.
His back door was open, which left me curious. Joe never left his back-door open, its often closed.
Seizing the opportunity, I walked up to the room, carefully making sure no one saw me.
I snoozed around his office, analyzing everything my eyes landed on. Joe was up to something but I just couldn't put a name on it. All these late hours and on top of that, he didn't even bother to come home last night.
There was tan-folder that sat firmly on his desk. My first instinct was to just walk out but yanno my nosey had to see what was up. Picking up the file and my mind zoomed into the papers.
"Bank withdrawal!?" I whispered to myself. " .. plane tickets .. island resort .. wh-
I heard the door-knob jiggled and quickly tried to put the folder away, but it was slightly too late. He eyes traveled to me with pure hatred.
"WHAT THE FUCK YOU DOING UP IN HERE!?" He shouted.
"B-babe y-
He stormed over to me and delivered a hard blow to my right-side of my face. The whole impact contracted pain to my jaw, tumbling to the ground.
"ANSWER ME!?"
"I w-was looking for you" I croaked out.
"Thats the best you got" he chuckled.
"Its t-tha truth" I pleaded as I finally stood tall on my feet.
"Yeah, alright bitch" he glared at me. "But since yo ass here, lets get down to business"
"B-business!?"
"Yeah business Albee!?" He said. "now no worries I took care of that she-devil for you"
"YOU DID WHAT!?" I was more than shocked especially if I think he did what I'm now thinking.
"Calm yo nipples boy, nobody touch that disgusting creature you so call a friend"
Well that's a relief ..
"I'm talking bout Mary dumass"
"Mary!?" I looked at him like he was krazy. " Have you lost yo mind!?"
"Look tha bitch was a threat ok .."
"A threat huh yeah right! Thats bullshyt and you know it Joey!?"
"shut up for a sec. We don't need her ass no more, I got the info from her outlet so we hitting them in bout two days sooner!?"
