This was the picture that inspired this story. A character known as 2B in NieR Automata, a Japanese video game.
I'm excited about this one. I've been working on Psyche Twist for all of my childhood and years in between. This is a first for me. A new novel. A new story and cast of characters. I'm learning more about them as I write.
My main character Eima is a person of colour and there are many others with important roles who have a culture and race to them. With all the diversity in the world, it's refreshing to see more and more authors that have been marginalized-- having their voices heard. I hope that this story gets to reach those who have felt invisible. Who were pushed aside in movies as side characters, one-timers or extras. It's time to show them you are human, without having to explain you are.
