Chapter 4

Perrie had yet another meeting with her managent which focused on the blonde interacting with fans and getting to spend more time with her wife since Jade and her figured that their lack of being with each other caused most of their fights.

The singer rolled her eyes at the head of her promotional team wondering how he actually managed to get such a high position when he had actually no idea of the target group's demands and wishes.

"How about we schedule another concert in London? It will give the fans the feeling that you enjoy performing for them", he said which caused the singer to sigh loudly since she had at least 10 concerts scheduled there already.

Suddenly all eyes were on the singer whose fist was clenched in anger. "You do know that there are way too many of my concerts in the London area, right? People will become sick of me and I'll lose fans. Also I should probably do concerts in other countries too. I see my fans asking for concerts in different countries all the time"

"Yeah, but it costs more money. You have to get everything in this country and find sponsors in these countries"

"I couldn't care less about all of these things. I want to please my fans the people who get the label the money that pays for your job", the singer hissed angrily. 

She was fed up with his behaviour and seemingly non existant knowledge. She often considered finding another promo team but her manager always asked her to give him another chance since he had done a great job with other artists beforehand.

"The money we could also get inside the UK"

"We won't get money when the people are tired of me. I've performed at so many festivals and done an entire UK tour after promoting "Power" non stop. Leigh takes a break since she knows that the public wants a break from her. Why can't I at least tour some other countries? My fans abroad will turn restless if I won't bother touring more countries than the UK, Australia and the US"

"Your sales abroad aren't as strong as in these countries though"

"Maybe because not enough people know me because I don't bother going there and advertise my music there"

"We don't know that"

"Of course we do! It's simple economics since that seems to be the only way you'll believe me", the blonde put out her phone and went onto her twitter where she typed a quick tweet asking people to write down the countries they want her to come to.

"What are you doing?", her clueless head of marketing asked her.

"Just wait and see", the blonde mumbled and handed him her phone which was going off with replies of her fans which contained loads of different countries.

"See this as an example of market research. I just did a survey on where the demand is high. You simply have to find out the places with the highest numbers and plan a tour there. You could also do something with a map of the world and make them put their wished spot on them. Then you could find a few radio stations or TV shows that want to tell people about me and make me perform there this will increase the awareness and help my popularity there as well as my sales figures. But that's just a suggestion since, you know, I'm just the singer and haven't studied marketing techniques at University", the blonde said sarcastically and smiled provocatively before taking back her phone and left her stunned head of promo.

Her manager followed her quickly and high fived her once they had left the room. This caused the singer to be confused and turn towards her. She loved Beth but she didn't get how she was suddenly on her side after telling her countless of times to be nice to him.

"Why are you on my side all of the sudden?"

"Because he's an idiot and clearly has no idea what he has to do"
