Chapter 17

"What do you mean you want to go icognito through Europe?", Jade asked with a slight frown on her face.

The blonde kept her overly excited attitude and smiled at her wife, "Now that you have a few weeks off and we can go on vacation I thought we'd travel through Europe and do some sightseeing. See all the amazing cities. You know that I never really got the chance to do that during tours and now that I've been on a break for over a year the hype around me has died down so we can totally do that"

"So you want to travel through Europe like a not famous person would do, instead of going to a secluded beach?", Jade tried again to understand her wife's proposal, since the blonde had wanted to relax somewhere far away from the crowds.

"Yeah, we do that every year and as amazing as it is to see you in a bikini, now that we live in Italy I get to see that a lot more often anyways. And I know how much you love cultural trips so what's in the way?"

Jade slowly but surely started to grin and nodded slowly. Never in a million years did she think that Perrie would suggest doing something like this. It has always been one of Jade's yet to be fulfilled dreams to do something like this and now she could.

"I'm down. But when do you want to go?"

"Tomorrow"

"Tomorrow? Isn't that a bit close? I mean we haven't even packed or decided where to go yet!", Jade started to panic and ran upstairs, trying to find things that would be helpful for their trip.

"It's called being spontaneous, Bambi. We can just check which train connection is best for tomorrow and that's our first destination", the singer told her wife who was busy fretting and worrying about all kinds of things and wouldn't understand Perrie's calm demeanor in a time like this.

"Still. We have to pack as in now!"

"Oh c'mon we can't take that much with us anyways. It's going to be a back packing holiday, you know that money isn't an issue", Perrie told Jade while she was stopping her from looking in all the drawers for batteries and sat her down on their bed. In Perrie's mind it wasn't too difficult since they'd take a few clothes, some drinks and only the bare minimum of food since they could just eat out or buy some in a random shop. Money certainly isn't an issue to them with Jade's salary raising every year and Perrie's earnings from her songs and the success of those she wrote for other people.

"Yeah, but still. What if we need something along the way and we don't have it with us?"

"We'll buy it or something. It's about being spontaneous for once. We haven't really done something like this yet and it's going to be fun. Let's take this as it comes and pack only important things"

Jade cuddled into her wife's side and put her chin on Perrie's shoulder. Perrie stroked her hair gently and kissed her face repeatedly. 

"Don't fret too much, this time tomorrow we'll be in a traing to some really cool city and who knows what we could be up to then", Perrie mused into the footballer's ear.

They just sat like that for a while, enjoying each other and their presence. That was until Jade cut through the silence, "How do you plan on staying undiscovered?"

It wasn't a surprise that Perrie had many fans in Europe and that hasn't changed in the time she has taken a break but she won't be on everyone's radars while doing so.

"I'll just wear a baseball cap or something. I've been MIA for quite some time now and I don't think that my fans will be everywhere we go. Some will recognise me or you or us both but that won't hinder our adventure", the blonde chirped happily, "now where do we want to go?"
