Day One June 25th // wrestling against each other

Becky always had the itching to wrestle a guy. And with where the WWE was going, she finally had the opportunity to do so. But that left the question of "who" up in the air. Names were constantly tossed around.

Chris Jericho, he was a seasoned vet who didn't mind putting younger talent over. He wasn't afraid to be the heel or the face either. Besides, he put on great matches with Chyna. But ultimately, Jericho was out for Fozzy.

James Ellsworth was another name tossed around that was favored in at least their minds. And sure, Becky wanted nothing more than to snap that little shits arm, ever since the disastrous moment known as Money in the Bank. But if Becky was going to do this, she was going to do this. And to do that she was going to start where it all began, with the man Fergal Devitt.

At first, nobody took Becky seriously when she pitched going against Fergal. He was on Raw, she was on Smackdown. Not to mention, he was one of the top guys on Raw. They had no clue how they would swing it. What even would be the story line for it? Weren't the two dating, so wouldn't that be awkward? They couldn't let a couple face each other! Besides, how were they going to get Finn from being in the title picture to going against Becky?

But Shane began seeing it. He had faith in Becky for it, despite how much his family told him it was absolutely crazy. And the demon himself was on board with it. Then again, when wasn't Fergal on board to wrestle people and put on amazing matches? So it wasn't long until he actually managed to convince his father.

People were worried, how was it going to turn out? Fergal was a power house, and so was Becky, but they were in their own right. What about the size difference? Obviously he was stronger than her (have you seen those abs?) What about the insane spots that was being pitched by both himself and Becky? But Becky trusted Fergal, and Fergal trusted her. They weren't scared to hurt each other, and many people thought that their relationship would throw them off. But in fact, it didn't. That only encouraged them to beat the shit out of each other more.

And that lead to where they were now, Summerslam, the second biggest pay per view of the year. They were making history in two ways for the night. Not only was it an intergender match, something that was thought to be long gone in the WWE, but not only that, it was the main event.

Surprisingly to Stephanie, the crowd bought it right away. And the usage of their real past of Fergal training Becky, only for him to leave to Japan, for them to meet back here. It provided the perfect successor going after their trainer, the perfect story of a heartbreak. They had many heartbreaking exchanges in the ring, that convinced even Hunter at times that it was all true, and that the two weren't actually happily together.

So needless to say, the two went out there and killed it.

It didn't matter that Becky had lost, she put up an epic fight. And the crowd was behind her, behind them 100%. All screaming her music, and cheering her name. And she did things that some of the guys wouldn't even do. She let him powerbomb her through the commentating table. He let her snap suplex him into the ring barriers, even though the last time he let anyone throw him into the barriers he received a nasty shoulder injury. They utilized the ring steps, the ropes by having a hangman spot, and so much more. She even got cut open at some point when she was rammed into an exposed turnbuckle.

One of her favorite moments, was when everyone thought she was going to win. Fergal had hit the coup de grâce, but she caught him and reversed it into the arm bar. It looked as if Fergal would tap, but just before he did, he managed to pull himself to the ropes.

The payoff was amazing, living her dreams, gaining achievements, and pleasing the fans. But even better was the payback backstage. People were lined up clapping for both of them, people proud of the two.

But was even better was when he came back, arms extended as he picked up her up twirling her. "You kicked my lass," he joked as he rubbed his arm where she locked the disarmer and arm bar countless times. "But I wouldn't have it any other way."
