Day One June 25th // wrestling against each other
When Shinsuke came to the WWE, to NXT and the Performance Center, he wasn't sure what to expect because he knew it was going to be so different from Japan. But there, he found many people he didn't like, and he found many people that would be classified as ass kissers.
And he hated being treated like royalty outside of the ring. He did pride himself for his ability in the ring, he was damn good at what he does. But outside of the ring, he was just simply Shinsuke.
Anyone who knew him from the independent scene wasn't like that, and he found genuine friends in them. But he found comfort in yet another man, Tye Dillinger. Tye wasn't ever really in the independent scene, and he never traveled to Japan. Yet, even though he was NXT made, he didn't suck up to Shinsuke, and Shinsuke took an instant liking to the Canadian man. Maybe it was because of his infectious smile, or heartwarming eyes, or it could have just been his humor because that man was so funny.
It was Shinsukes televised debut, after defeating Sami Zayn. When they asked him who he wanted as an opponent, there was only one guy in mind and that was Tye. Shinsuke wanted to wrestle him ever since he met him, because he loved watching him in the ring (it totally wasn't because it was just Tye) but they already had plans set out for him.
Tye was more than happy to lose to Shinsuke. Sure, normally he would be opposed to have what some would call a squash match, but it was for Shinsuke after all. He was mostly just excited to actually get to wrestle Shinsuke. To be fair, everyone wanted to wrestle Shinsuke, and Tye was no different with that. And it was a great match, but he certainly left sore. People weren't kidding about Shinsuke's kicks, they were brutal, and they left him sore.
"How are you doing?" Shinsuke held out a bottle of water for the man once he returned backstage to Tye after celebrating his win in the ring.
"You really are a force to be reckoned with," Tye smiled off the pain as he rubbed his throbbing neck that still hurt from Shinsukes strong kicks.
Shinsuke carefully watched Tye as he supplied, "I could...kiss it to make it better?"
Instantly his face turned red as he stumbled over his words, "Stop being an idiot Shin."
"You know, it's customary tradition in my country," Shinsuke coyly grinned big as he clasped his hands behind his back.
"No it's not!" Tye laughed out as he lightly pushed Shinsuke's shoulder. Sure Tye was an idiot, but he wasn't an idiot. He had met countless guys from Japan and none of them were like that.
"Fine, fine, it's not," Shinsuke admitted. "But why not make it our tradition?"
"You're serious?" Tye rose his eyebrows as he watched the cheeky grinning man across from him. He hoped that Shinsuke was serious.
Shinsukes face was red too, but he wasn't going to let that stop him. "Very."
"If you insist on kissing me Shinsuke, I guess you can."
"Perfect." Shinsuke somehow managed to grin more as he brought his hands out from behind his back to put his hands on Tye's face. "You know Tye, you really are a perfect ten."
Tye resisted the urge to roll his eyes, "Kiss me already asshole."
Shinsuke didn't need to be told twice as he leaned in to Tye giving him a great old smooch across the lips.
LOOK AT THOSE ADORABLE SMILES
So this is a tad short, but I didn't want to write out the entire match since it is a real match and I didn't create it. I wanted to focus more on the flirty aspects and admiration between the two. There is a clip of the match up above, and just go watch it because these two are so great.
