Day Five June 29th // family life
Tye didn't know why Shinsuke insisted that he come over. Although, who was Tye to really complain? So he made the quick drive to Shinsuke's place. Not even bothering to knock on the door, Tye just let himself in.
"Tye," Shinsuke squealed as he rounded the corner, his black socks padding against the ground as he ran to hug the Canadian man.
"Hey Shin," Tye smiled as he shrugged off his shoes and black jacket to hang up. "Do I not get a kiss?" he fake pouted as he looked down at Shinsuke's head who was leaning against his chest since he was hugging him.
Shinsuke leaned up kissing him before quickly pulling away as he coyly smiled while leaning farther away, clasping his hands behind his back, something he did often. "Happy Father's day!"
"Uhm Shin, you know I'm not a father right? I don't have kids, we don't have kids."
Shinsuke's smile grew as he decided to tease Tye, "But you're my daddy."
"Shinsuke," he rubbed his temples. "Don't ruin that word for me, or I'll have to start calling my father 'dude' or something."
"Okay, daddy. But come on I got something to show you," Shinsuke reached forward grabbing onto Tye's hands as he tried to drag him down the hallway.
"Unless it is you with your shirt off, I don't care."
"It's even better than that," he promised knowing that Tye was going to love it.
"Pants off too?" Tye suggested as he let Shinsuke drag him along.
"Even better."
"You completely nake- oh my god." Tye completely stopped as he stared at Shinsuke's bed, more or less the dog laying there.
"You guys even have the same face!" Shinsuke picked up the puppy as he looked between him and Tye.
"He's a dog."
"And you have a cute puppy face," Shinsuke shot back. "Do you want to hold him?"
"Of course," Tye took the dog away from him, cooing as he stroked his head. "Oh my god Shinsuke, what's his name?"
"I thought you could name."
"Sheriff."
"Then his name is Sheriff. Do you like your Father's Day gift?"
"Of course I do, you know I've wanted a dog for a long time, but, why today?"
"I thought that since I can't really give you kids, and I know how much you like children, I could give you dogs, and I know you like dogs."
Tye couldn't help the smile that came to his face. He swore Shinsuke was one of the purest people he knew. "It may not be traditional, but it is our own little family."
