Zein was walking down the street, his hood pulled up over his Pink hair. He was an abnormal, so he had to hide it whether he liked it or not. The night was a lot colder than usual, so there weren't many people around to notice him anyway. The nights like that were the ones that Zein enjoyed the most, since he'd have plenty of cover to move from place to place. The street lights were flickering on and off, leaving the streets dark for the most part. This didn't alarm him since he was so close to home.
Zein sighed, hopping over the fence that was meant to keep him inside of his home. That's how the new government had decided to contain the abnormals-Keep them caged up like animals. It made him sick to think about it, but he knew he couldn't do anything. So far he had only managed to make a small group of friends, all of whom were abnormals. He knew he needed a lot more people if he planned to do anything about their current situation, but there wasn't any way they could find any more people. The fences that were meant to contain them were electric, so it wasn't easy to get out of them. Zein and the few other abnormals he'd met had managed to disable the currents running through the fence, but they couldn't help anyone else out since the control panel was inside of the fences.
Zein ran into his home quickly, now realizing that they were going to scan his home soon to make sure he was still there. They had discovered that this was happening when one of the escaped abnormals had been killed after not arriving back into her home before 5am. The government had even added in an extra security cage underground around every abnormal's home that would come up whenever an abnormal would be found outdoors. They would stay for 24hours, so you're pretty much screwed if you are outside when someone's caught. Luckily, Zein had managed to disable the security dome as well, so he was pretty much home free at this point.
After the scan was over, Zein grabbed his wig, putting it on quickly as he got ready for work. Normally an abnormal wouldn't be aloud to have a job, but Zein had taken his brother's place once he had died. He was the only abnormal born in his family, so he was separated from them at birth. The only way he could contact them was through the internet. His parents had disapproved of his nightly activities, but when his brother died, they gave him the information he needed in order to take his place. They were twins, but in this world twins could be born with completely different hair colors, but only since the color selection process was random. The only way someone could be an abnormal was if two people with different core emotions were to have children, there would be a chance of having an abnormal.
Because of Zein's brother passing away, Zein was able to assume the role of himself and his brother. The only time he was confined to his home was during the scans, which he'd now figured out the time for, so it was fairly simple for him to slip in and out of his confinement. The abnormals' homes were all in one area (depending on which area of Remiza you lived in), so if an abnormal escaped it would be easy to get away from the confinement area. The government thought the fences were enough security, so there weren't really any guards except when an abnormal had escaped and the domes were up.
Quickly, Zein made his way back over the fence, making his way to the area that was meant only for the people with the core emotion of purity (pure). This was the area his parents lived in, so he would stop by there every morning for a quick visit before he went to work. Once he made it to his parent's home, he knocked on the door and waited for them to answer. They had a doorbell, but he would knock so that they'd know it was him. His mother came to let him in, but when he walked in, a man stepped out from behind her holding up a gun.
"What's going on here? Your son is dead, so who is he?" The man demanded of my mother, and she glanced over at him apologetically.
"T-that's..." She started, but then Zein's father walked in from the living room.
"Take him. That's the abnormal my wife's been allowing into our home," He sneered, and Zein stared at him wide-eyed. His father would've never done something like that to him. What the hell is going on?
