Chapter 6

"What? Kuzo, what do you mean?" Zein shouted at him, his eyes widening.

Kuzo shushed him, and they stayed silent for a few minutes to figure out if anyone had heard. Akira was mumbling to himself, scared out of his mind to be in a new place, and he really had no clue who they were talking about. He wasn't okay with any of it. "Okay, well...Zein, I saw it on Akira's TV...Isumi and Nico were found. They showed them on the TV...we're lucky we didn't get caught. They said they were going to check the rest of the Abnormals' homes," Kuzo sighed, putting his head in his hands.

"W-what? A-are they gonna kill us? Zein, I-..I don't wanna die," Akira started freaking out, burying his face in Zein's chest. He was so scared, and he didn't know what to do. It was too late for them to just go back, so Akira and Kuzo would be in just as much danger as Zein was at this point.
