Kuzo was still protesting against Akira coming with them, but he couldn't really do anything at this point. After they all got to the fence, Kuzo looked back at Zein and rolled his eyes. "And exactly how do you think you'll be able to get him over the fence?" Kuzo asked, and Akira seemed more scared after hearing that. He didn't really think it through before that they'd probably have to leave the fence to go anywhere.
"Z-zein! I don't wanna go! Nooooo!" He whined, trying to get away again. Obviously that didn't work since Zein was a lot stronger than Akira was.
"Akira, it's gonna be fine. If you don't come along the guards are gonna find out about the fence...Please come, I'll explain all of this when we have time, I just..." Zein assured him, pushing Akira towards Kuzo.
"Z-Zein? Nooooooooooo!" Akira yelped, not wanting to be near Kuzo. Kuzo wasn't nice to him, and he didn't really trust the guy. What was he supposed to do? Zein was gonna get him out whether he liked it or not. "I-if you gotta bring me out, please don't leave me with him! It's scary," Akira whined, trying to get away from Kuzo. That didn't work either.
"It's okay," Zein said, and he climbed to the top of the fence, peeking around to make sure no one was around. After making sure the Area was clear, he sat at the top of the fence, and Kuzo lifted Akira up so Zein could help him over.
"NOOOOOO!" Akira cried, flailing around as he tried to break out of Kuzo's grip. He was lifted up to Zein quickly, and Zein held onto him until Kuzo made it over the fence. After Kuzo was over, he dropped Akira and Kuzo caught him, then he let go of him and let him fall on the ground.
"Kuzo, that wasn't nice," Zein frowned, dropping down from the fence and helping Akira up off the ground.
"You Alright?" Zein asked him, and Akira nodded, grabbing onto the fence. He was afraid of what might be out there, since he'd never left him home before. Kuzo went to check around the corner to see if the coast was clear.
After a few minutes, Kuzo came back, the coast was clear. Zein grabbed Akira's hand (which Akira was NOT happy about) and started running, and Akira was struggling to keep up, stumbling around and nearly tripping over everything. After noticing this, Kuzo put Akira on his back so that he wouldn't slow them down (at least, that's what he told Zein).
They kept running until they were at the outer wall of the abnormals area, and they quickly hid behind a pile of barrels to form a plan. This was the only exit from this city, and the only way to leave would be to use a keycard that the higher-ranking guards would use. After a lot of thinking, they decided to slip in behind one of them by wearing a regular guard's uniform and sneaking into the big crowds of guards that there would be when they went to war. Getting a guard's uniform wasn't a problem, since the barrels they had hid behind were full of the gear. It was broken gear, so they wouldn't have the same capabilities as a regular guard, but it would have to work. Zein was even more afraid for Akira, since the guards didn't really hold hands, so he wouldn't be able to help him.
After awhile they saw a large group of guards passing through the gates, so they leapt out of their hiding spot, running into the crowd. Akira help on to Kuzo's tool belt since Zein had moved too fast for him to notice. Once they were in the crowd, Akira could hold onto Kuzo's hand while they walked, since the other guards didn't pay attention to them.
They were able to make it out without anyone noticing them, but then came the tricky part- Slipping away once they got outside. Luckily for them, there were a bunch of crates full of gear right beside the exit, so they could hop into the boxes without anyone noticing, and nobody'd realize that they weren't just a pile of old armor.
The guards passed, then they decided to try and make a plan. "So..now what?" Kuzo asked, and they all realized how badly they'd planned this. Yes, it was just a decision they'd made in the heat of the moment, but they could've at least decided on something that would be less likely to get them and their friends killed.
"First of all, I wanna know what freaked you out so much," Zein glared at him, knowing he was the reason they were in this mess. They'd hid behind the boxes by now, so nobody would see them since it was a tall stack with a small, open area in the center.
"Well..." Kuzo started, and he cleared his throat, starting up again "Isumi and Nico...They....The guards found them...."

Hello guys! This is the last chapter I'll be posting until I'm back from vacation, but don't worry! As soon as I get back I'm going to post two chapters to make up for it. I'll be working on this story and the other ideas I'd mentioned in my other book while I'm gone, but I'll only be posting in my rant book until I am back. Once I'm home, I'll be posting two new chapters for this story, one chapter for my new book that I'll be making, and a new chapter for my rant book (I'll be updating you all on what I'm up to)Now that that's done, I'm going to say bye! I'll be gone until The end of this month, so I'll be sort of inactive until then other than in my rant book, where I'm probably going to put some pictures up. I like taking pictures lol.
