We got off the train at Halsey Street and she practically dragged me outside the station.

I was so confused when she waved her hands towards a fountain and said "ta-da" excitedly. It was a fucking fountain.

I looked at her blankly and she groaned "it's a fountain. Called Hopeless. Zach helped build it" she smiled widely

I gave her an awkward smile "Why are you so excited about it?"

"I'm not, I just wanted to show you something cool" she admitted

I smiled widely at her "Babe you're so cute" I pulled her close to my chest and she enveloped me in her arms before softly kissing my lips "I really like you Matty Healy"

"I really like you too" I kissed her deeply but gently. I lied when I said I liked her, I love her.
