"Matthew Healy, you're under arrest for stealing and for shooting an American citizen" another cop came and cuffed me, leading me away.

Ashley followed us.

One of the cops tried to stop her "Ma'am, please, you can't come with us-"

"He's my boyfriend and I'm not leaving until I have to" she told him coldly. That's my girl.

I was led to a police car and pushed inside. Ashley leaped in beside me before anything otherwise could happen. The cop that tried stopping her got in beside her.

She grabbed my cuffed hands with her right hand and kissed me, her left hand cuffing my cheek "I love you so much Matty. I'll wait forever for you. I'll keep the lights on and the bed warm and I even fucking clean the house"

I started to cry as it started to sink in that I was going straight to jail and I probably wasn't going to see Ashley for a long while.

I sobbed and kissed her and even when we arrived at the prison, the cops pretended we hadn't arrived because they weren't even that cruel to break us up.

But I pulled away "I have to go Ashley"

She cried even harder but she let go "I love you"

"I love you more"
