Nobody

Chapter 5

French went by quick, and mainly consisted of me and Terra passing notes. We've become pro's at it, Mr. Rogers has never caught us in the two years we've been in his class.

"Well French was fun," Terra said sarcastically as we walked out of Mr. Rogers' classroom.

"Oh yeah, especially the homework," I said with fake enthusiasm, letting out a small laugh.

"What are we doing tonight?" Joey asked, joining us.

"I heard there was a party tonight at Jacks," Terra said. 

"Not Jacks," I told her.

"Aw come on Ara, your just afraid he'll make a moooove on you," She said, nudging me.

"Your such a little kid sometimes," I laughed.

"Well I'm still your best friend so..." She stuck her tongue out at me, making me laugh.

I turned to Joey. "Do you want to go?" I asked him.

"Heck yeah. Do you even know how many hot girls will be there?"

"And they'll all be hooking up with someone other than you," Terra said with a lugh.

"Whatever," Joey mumbled, even though he knew that Terra was joking, since she did this every time he brought up girls. We all know he can get a girl, he's not unattractive, it's just that he's not on the football team. Being on the soccer team, he gets less "fame".

"Ara, watch out," Terra called out, and before I knew it I ran into a person.

"Sorry," I said, looking up. Then I realized who I had bumped into, who was also the person who we had happened to be talking about a minute ago.

"It's fine, no big deal," Jack said with a smile. "So did you hear about my party tonight?"

"Yeah, actually we were just talking about it," I said, adding in no enthusiasm. He didn't notice that though and kept on talking.

"Are you coming? I mean, I'd love if you came," He said, and I saw a slight blush creep up his cheeks. It did make him look really cute.

"I think we might drop by," I told him, which made Terra elbow me. "I mean, yeah. We're coming," I quickly added.

"Great, see you there," He told me before walking away.

I turned to my two friends. "If anything happens, I'm blaming you two," I told them, but they just laughed.

"I hate to break it to you all, but we're going to be late to Gym if we don't start walking in the next two seconds," Terra told us, and we started down the hallway.
