Half the time

Or what I was thinking

Something I said before
The opposite
Of what I just said

You confuse me
Or rather
I confuse myself
What did I mean?
What do I mean?

Is what I'm saying even true
Or have I conviced myself
That that is the truth
What was true?
I don't remember.

I don't know what to think
I don't know what to do
Maybe it was all my fault
Yet I have so many reasons,
To prove it wasn't
Maybe I lied to you
Yet it was the truth when I said it

The truth is
