Last Time On Misfit -

Sapphire Sydnee and Kennan Blue decided to stop arguing and continue cleaning instead. Now , Sapphire's Dad is going to be home soon. Can the house be back into it's normal state and can Sapphire prepare lunch in time ?

Chapter 2 - Relations

" Phew ! Thanks Kennan , " I said and he nod in response.

" Now I have got about half an hour to get you out of the house , prepare food and bathe . " I told him .

" I'll take that as my cue to leave ? " he asked .

" Yes , please do. The door is that way and it's not lock , " I said in my best polite voice .

He gave me a menacing look but leave anyway.

" Jerks. " I muttered to myself.

I washed the mop and threw the garbage bag(s) into the bin and decided to take a shower.

I walked up to the bathroom quickly and switched on the heater .

I stripped down and threw my used clothes into the laundry basket and let the hot water soak my skin.

Yesterday was quite an eventful night.

I collected 5 jerks' numbers.

They give me their number , in hope that i'll call them.

*Scoffs*

Tough luck guys , tough luck.

I put a handful of shampoo on my hair and started massaging my scalp before applying soap on my body.

I rinsed all the foam away and dried myself.

I wrapped myseld into the towel and entered my walk-in closet.

The closet was in blue and there were lights hanging on the wall.

The closet is divided into 2 sections - The racks of outfits and the table of shoes and bags.

The racks are stood at the other end of the closet while the table is placed in the middle.

The front , empty space where I am standing now is for me to finalize my outfit decision.

I walked to the back of the closet and scanned the racks for clothes.

There's 3 crop-tees that caught my attention.

The first one has a heartshape in the middle and it's white in colour.

The second one has flowery designs on it and it's also white in colour.

The final one has the word ' Misfit ' on it and it has complicated but nice designs in the background.

" This one is perfect. "

The next thing i'm finding is jeans.

Skinny jeans.

I found a rosy-red one and decided to wear that.

I unwrapped myself and put on the outfit that I have chosen.

" Perfect. "

I walked out from the closet and blow-dried my hair before combing it.

I have shoulder-length , wavy and natural shiny black hair but I highlighted the bottom of it light brown.

I decided to let go of my hair so I can have more time to "cook" .

I can always do my hair later.

I unlocked my phone to see horrible pictures of umm ..

People.

I cannot believe that I actually invited them but oh , well ..

Who could ever resist my party ?

I head to the kitchen and took out a cup of instant noodles and boiled the water.

While waiting for the water to boil , I decided to delete all the horrid pictures but then a really useful picture meets my eyes.

*Evil Smirk*

I deleted all the other pictures except for that particular one and prepare the noodles.

Afterwards , I poured the cooked noodles into a bowl and took out a pair of chopsticks and right on time , I heard the bell ring.

I hurried to the door to welcome my dad but to my not so pleasant surprise - A lady around her early thirties has my dad's right arm wrapped around her waist .

" Umm , who is that ? " I asked after I have done staring at the lady .

" Can we at least enter the house

first ? " he asked with pleading eyes .

I just give them enough space to enter and bring them into the kitchen.

" So , who is she ? " I spit out the words this time.

" Darling , please sit down. " he plead.

Why is he pleading ?

Because I spit out the words ?

But isn't he used to me doing that ?

Okay , this. is. weird.

" Sapphire , this is Belinda . " he said and I nod.

" Go on , " I urged him.

" I know you have been wondering why me and your mother have been going to different countries for our business trips despite the fact that we work in the same company which is my company , " he started .

" Well , actually .. While your mother is on business trips , I am working while spending time with Belinda here . " he admitted and I just stood there with no whatsoever emotion/expression on my beautiful face.

" So , how is she related to you ? "
