Chapter 8
My shift has ended and I start to walk home.... When I run into Jack... and another girl... He stares at me "S-Savannah..?" I look down "Hey..." The girl looks at Jack then back at me "Who is this..?" He smiles at her "This is Savannah, she is a friend of mine... Savannah this is Emily." He stares at me "His girlfriend." She says and he smiles "Yeah..." I feel like someone just stabbed me in the heart. I spoke without thinking "So this is who you must have run off for that day..." He looks at me confused "What...?" I look up at him "That day I had off work so we could hang out... Then Jeff came in and told you she was back... and then you ran off." I look down again "You never came back..." He stares at me "Savannah. I'm so sorry... I forgot-" "About me?" He doesn't say anything "How could you Jack... I... I was so nice to you... For god sake I let you sleep in my house IN THE SAME BED!" He stares at me in shock "And then you just leave... without saying goodbye..." I started to cry... "And to think I was starting to like you..." His 'eyes' widen "You what...?" I look up at him crying "I like you, Jack..." I run off crying my eyes out...
Jack POV
I stand there for a while after she runs off... I knew something was off ever since I found Emily again... It was Savannah... I forgot about her... I step away from Emily not looking at her "I think we should break up..." She looks at me "It's for that whore isn't it?" I look at her in anger "She isn't a whore." She smirks "Whatever. I didn't want you anyways. I just wanted to be with someone and I knew you would take me back in a snap." She walks away. I run after Savannah.
Savannahs POV
I get to my house. How could he do this to me...? I... I can't believe this... I hear my front door open "Savannah?" It's Jack... I stay laying down on my bed and cry more. I hear him walk up the stairs "Savannah...?" He opens my door and walks over to me. "Savannah. I'm so sorry..." I don't say anything to him. He lays down next to me and pulls me to him wrapping his arms around me. "Please stop crying..." I try to calm down but I can't. He rubs my back. "I am so sorry... I broke up with her.. If that means anything... I know you probably hate me know..." I slowly shake my head "I don't hate you..." He hugs me tighter "Good... I don't know what I'd do if you did..." I wrap my arms around him. "I wish Emily wouldn't have come back..." I nod my head "Me too..." He smiles "I like you too Savannah..." "Then why were you with her...?" He sighs sadly "I thought you didn't like me back..." I look up at him "Of course I do..." He smiles down at me "Savannah...?" I smile up at him "Yes?" He blushes "Will you be my girlfriend...?" I blush and smile "Of course" He smiles and kisses my forehead "Let's get some sleep." I smile up at him "Yeah..." I hide my face in his chest "Goodnight." He smiles "Goodnight..." We both fall asleep.
