Chapter 19: Final Chapter
EJ POV
I stroked her hair as I held her in my arms. It felt so right to be like this with her. Then Emily popped into my head. What was I going to do? I told her i'd kill Savannah... I looked down at her. Why did she trust me so much? Why does she always forgive me? I'm a horrible person. I hurt her over and over and she still continued to stay by me. I don't know what to do. I can't kill her... I felt so alone once she tried to run. I just can't kill her...
My POV
I looked up at him. He seemed troubled "Jack..?" He looked down at me "Yes?" "Whats wrong?" He shook his head "Nothing... Don't worry about it." He kissed my forehead "I can't just not worry about it... Whats wrong?" He sighed giving in "Emily... wanted me to kill you.." My eye's widen and I slowly push away from him. He really did come find me just to kill me... How could I have been so stupid to think that he actually could change. That he came for me to be with me... I felt the tears rushing to my eyes. I was tired of running. If he was going to kill me then so be it. But he's going to have to work for it because I will put up a fight.
I gripped the knife that was in my back pocket. He sighed pulling out his scalpel "Savannah, just put your knife down" He knew I had a knife? How? "What are you talking about?" He shook his head setting his scalpel down on the table "I'm not going to hurt you. I came here for you..." I blinked. Was he serious? Did he really come here for me? I nodded slowly taking my knife out from behind my back and placing it on the table. He walked toward me and pulled me into another hug. I hugged back closing my eyes. Could I finally be getting him? Is he finally going to stay by me? He whispered into my ear "I wont leave you again.." I smiled and nodded, hugging him tighter. He was going to be mine... He lifted my chin up so I would look into his eyes or more like... eye sockets? I saw that smirk on his face. That one that showed me he was serious. He wasn't going to leave me and that he was mine. He rested his forehead against mine "I love you" He mumbled slightly. I blushed, he's never said that to me. "I love you too" I smiled. He kissed me and I kissed back. "Promise me you wont leave me again" "I promise" He replied. I smiled and hid my face in his chest "Jack?" He looked down at me "Hm?" I smiled "You really are loveable"
