Chapter 18
BEN took me to the amusement park. He looked so excited. It was adorable I have to admit. I noticed how he kept bumping his hand into mine. He was just to shy to take it and hold it. He's funny. He pointed at a ride and dragged me over to it. I swear he was like a little kid in a candy store. He was so happy. We basically rode all the rides 10 times each. Man I was tired. It was already dark out and he took me out to eat by the lake. It was actually pretty romantic. I loved it. This was probably the best day i've had in weeks. I smiled shaking my head as BEN kept glancing nervously at the lake beside us. "We don't have to sit so close you know." He shook his head "The moon is shining perfectly on you and-"
His eyes widen and he quickly looks away "I mean.. uhm.. I-I..." I could see the blush on his face and I giggled. I had a faint blush across my cheeks. I haven't been on a date in a while. This was probably the best one i've ever been on. I place a hand on top of his "I had fun today BEN" He looked at me, his blush increasing. "M-Me too... Thank you for g-going out with m-me" I smiled "Thank you for asking me to." I leaned over the table and kissed his cheek softly. He blushed more and smiled taking my head "May I walk you back to your room?" I smiled and nodded. We slowly made our way back up to my room. BEN would actually make a pretty good boyfriend.... boyfriend... Was Jack ever really my... boyfriend..? I don't think he was... He just used me... Why do I love him so much...? I shook my head trying to get Jack out of my head. This whole time on the date I felt like I was being watched. I couldn't help but feel he was near me... Watching my every move. I know it was him.. It had to be Jack... Who else would it be? I have a bad feeling something bad is going to happen soon...
We get back to my room and I open the door. Everything is trashed. BEN goes in first to make sure its safe. I stood outside the door waiting for him to say it was safe to come in. When someone wrapped an arm around my waist and put a hand over my mouth. He whispered in my ear "Don't scream. It's me. Jack" My eyes widen. I knew it was him. I knew he was following me. "Why did you go on a date with him... You held his hand... and kissed his cheek. You guys even slept in the same bed." He paused for a moment "Why? Why would you do this?" He takes his hand off my mouth but still held me in place "Why? Are you seriously asking me this? Jack, you tried to kill me. You left me for Emily 3 times now. He asked me out. Of course, I was going to say yes. I wanted to have a good time for once."
He held me closer "But why him? Why couldn't it have been me? I would have made you happier. We would have had a great time. I could have held you in your sleep. I could have cooked for you. I could ask you out. I could have done so much better than him." I didn't say anything. Why was he acting like this? Why now? That's when BEN came back out "You can co-" He froze seeing Jack holding me. "Jack..." EJ glared at him pushing me behind him "You asshole. How dare you try to take her from me!" He pulled out his scalpel. I grabbed his arm "Jack, please. No fighting." I whispered hugging his arm tightly. He looked down at me then back at BEN. He sighed putting his scalpel up "You got lucky Benjamin." He shoved BEN aside pulling me into the room "I'll take it from here." He shut the door in BEN's face locking it. He turned to me "I'm sorry.." He pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help it. I hugged back tightly and hid my face in his chest. I missed him so much. He kissed my forehead "Please forgive me..." I nodded not wanting to speak. We stayed like that for a while. Just holding each other... I loved every minute of it...
BEN's POV
I stood there for a moment after EJ shut the door in my face. He ruined my good day. I could have won her over. But he had to step into the picture again. I should be glad she was here to stop the fight before it started... He might have killed me. He looked happy that she went with him into the room without fighting back... He's in there with her.. alone... I growled lowly to myself. She was supposed to be mine... and he took her... She was my Princess.... and he took her from me...
