My Best Friend *a Sam Golbach fanfic* (COMPLETED)

Seven

I am so so so sorry for the last chapter. No more of those for a while.

Natalie's POV
I woke up to my phone ringing and I saw it was Sam. I picked up putting my phone to my ear.

"Hey, baby. You landed?" I asked.

"Hey, babe. Yeah, I did." He said.

"I'll be there in a few minutes." I said.

"Alright. See you in a few." He said.

"See you." I said and hung up. I got up and grabbed my keys and wallet and I walked downstairs and saw mom on the couch eating. "I'm going to get, Sam." I said.

"Okay." She said. "Be safe." She said.

"I will." I said and walked out to my dads car. I got in and started it and drove off. I drove to the airport and when I got there I saw Sam and pulled up and rolled down the passenger window. He saw me and walked over.

"Nice Challenger. Is it a rental?" He asked.

"No, it was my dads." I said. He put his stuff in the back seat and got in the passenger seat. I drove off. "Are you hungry?" I asked.

"A bit." He said.

"Want McDonald's?" I asked.

"Yeah, that's fine." He said. I drove to McDonalds and when I got there I went through the drive thru and we ordered.

We got to the house and walked inside and my mom was still on the couch.

"Sam!" She said happily. My mom has always loved Sam.

"Karen." He said and they hugged. "I'm sorry for your loss." He said.

"Thank you." She said and they pulled away. "Thank you for being here for Natalie and myself." She said.

"Always, Karen. You guys are another family to me." He said. I smiled and so did my mom.

"I'm off to bed. You kids don't stay up too late." She said.

"We won't." I said. She nodded.

"Goodnight." She said and walked to her room.

"Come on, lets go to my room." I said. He locked the front door before we went upstairs. We walked into my room and sat on my bed.

"Still looks the same." He said.

"They haven't touched it." I said as I turned the tv on.

"I see. How you holding up?" He asked.

"I'm alright." I said as we started eating. I put on Family Guy and we watched that for a while. We finished eating and he through our trash away and laid beside me. We both fell asleep.

I woke up the next day to laughing. I walked downstairs tying my hair back in a messy bun and I saw my mom and Sam cooking and talking. I walked over and they saw me.

"Good morning, sweetie." She said.

"Good morning, baby." He said.

"Morning." I said and made myself a cup of coffee.

"I thought today the three of us could have a movie day." She said.

"I'm down." He said.

"Me too." I said and took a sip out of coffee. They finished making breakfast and we started eating. Sam and my mom always got along. So it makes it easier with me and him dating.

"So, I heard you asked Natalie out." She said which caused him to smile.

"Yes, ma'am. I did." He said and grabbed my hand. "She's just amazing. Us being friends was the best thing ever, but now she's my girlfriend and it's even better." He said causing me to smile. She smiled.

"Young love, so cute." She smiled. I smiled and finished eating. Sam and I wash all the dishes and mom went to the theater room to set up. I dried my hands off and Sam turned to me and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled and pecked his lips and before I could pull away we were kissing. We stood there kissing until we heard a camera. We pulled away and turned our heads and I saw my mom. "You guys are absolutely cute." She said. I blushed hard and so did Sam. We fully pulled away and we walked to the theater room. "Your aunt called and said the funeral has been set for Sunday." She said. I nodded and Sam sat on the fluffy bean bag chair and pulled me on top of him. My mom sat on one of the other ones and she hit play. We were watching Jurassic World.

Sam's POV

We were half way into Saw III when I heard soft snoring coming from my lap and I saw Natalie was asleep. She's so cute. I took a picture of her and put it on Instagram. Screw it, I'm telling people. I captioned it:

Samgolbach This girl means the entire world to me. She started off as a stranger, then we became friends, then we became best friends and now she's my girlfriend. I've known her all my life and she's just amazing. I asked her out a couple of days ago when we went to a dinner on the beach. We weren't going to tell anyone just yet, but screw it. She's my everything. She's so damn gorgeous @nataliesantiago ❤️

People were liking and commenting once it went up. They were commenting some hateful stuff and nice stuff. Some were asking about me and Kat and I replied to a few people before I started to feel tired again. I locked my phone and put it to the side and I fell asleep holding Natalie close.
