My Best Friend *a Sam Golbach fanfic* (COMPLETED)

Sixteen

Natalie's POV

My mom and I spent a couple of hours just hanging out and talking before she left. I was sitting at the table in the kitchen editing a video when I felt a hand on my shoulder causing me to jump. I took my headphones off and saw Sam and I turned to him.

"Sorry that I'm making you edit out here. But I'm not done with the room." He kissed my head.

"It's fine." I said.

"But, there is something else I want you to see." He said.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Put this blindfold on." He said handing me a bandana.

"Okay, I love you, but if you're best friends with Corey I would not trust this idea." I said.

"Fair enough, just please put it on this time." He said.

"Okay, fine." I said and put it on as a blindfold and tied it. I stood up and he led me somewhere. I heard the door so we're either in the front or out back. We finally stopped and I could smell chlorine so I knew we were out in the backyard.

"Okay, take the blindfold off." He said. I took it off and opened my eyes and I saw the backyard was all decorated with lights and candles everywhere. There was a spot in front of the bar we have outside and I saw the screen on the side of the house and a projector on the bar. There was a blanket and a couple of other things on the grass. I turned to Sam.

"This is honestly really beautiful and I am so grateful." I said and pecked his lips. He smiled.

"I'm glad you love it." He said. I smiled and took a picture of everything and put it on Snapchat with the caption "He is literally the best boyfriend ever <3" and I posted it and saved it to my camera roll and put it on Instagram.

Nataliesantiago He is the best boyfriend in the entire world. I love you to the moon and back @samgolbach you mean the world to me. This is seriously the sweetest guy ever. This is one of my dream dates and he I didn't even knew he remembered it. I love you, Samuel <3.

I locked my phone and we sat on the blanket and the projector turned on and on the screen was the Notebook which is one of my favorite movies ever. I smiled to myself and he picked up flowers and chocolates and gave them to me.

"These are for you." He said.

"You seriously are the best boyfriend ever." I said pecking his lips and put the flowers and the chocolates off to the side and cuddled up to him. I was wearing short shorts and one of Sam's hoodies. It was pretty cold outside but I was cuddled up to him so I'm quite alright with this.

We were still laying on the blanket cuddling with each other when he broke the silence that we were in.

"Babe?" He asked causing me to look up at him.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Do you have a thing for Brennen?" He asked. I sat up.

"Why would you even ask me that?" I asked.

"Please answer the question." He said.

"No, I don't have a thing for Brennen. I love you, Sam. You're the only guy that I love and will ever love." I said.

"Okay." He said.

"Why would you think that I had a thing for him?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"I saw the way you were with him when I came home earlier." He said.

"Sam, I promise I don't have a thing for him." I said. He nodded and smiled.

"Good." He said. I love how jealous he gets though. We laid there watching another movie when my phone started ringing. I groaned and grabbed it and saw it was Andrea. I clicked the lock button and put it back to the side and I turned to Sam. He turned to me.

"I love you, I do." I said.

"I love you, too." He leaned in and we started kissing and somehow landed back in the room.

He laid beside me and I cuddled up to him. He pulled the blanket up and pulled me close.

"Who's gonna blow the candles out and put everything away?" I asked.

"I am and I should probably do that." He kissed my head and got up slipping into sweats. I got up and put on his shirt and laid back down and I fell asleep thinking about everything.

Sam's POV
I walked out into the backyard and started cleaning up. Colby was helping me out.

"So, you brought her mom to LA?" He asked.

"No, she came to LA for a business thing." I said.

"Okay." He said. "You really like her, don't you?" He asked looking at me.

"I do." I said and leaned against the bar.

"You're a lucky man." He said.

"I know I am." I said smiling to myself and ran a hand through my hair.

"Just don't hurt her man. She's delicate. You know that." He said.

"I know, I love her." I said. He nodded.

"I'm gonna finish cleaning up, go back to her." He said taking the stuff from me. I nodded and we did our handshake and I walked inside and into our room. I shut the door and saw her sleeping. I slid into bed carefully beside her and I held her close and fell asleep.
