Two

Natalie's POV

The waitress brought us our food and drinks and we started eating.

"So, Natalie. Do you have a crush on anyone yet?" Colby asked.

"Not really." I said and took a sip out of my soda.

"Well, I mean, she's only been here a week." Sam said. I have somewhat of a crush on Sam, I mean I always have. He is so cute, his eyes and smile are mesmerizing.

"Let's give her some more time and see if she finds someone." He said.

"Maybe." I shrugged and finished my food. I messed with my straw and cup. Once we were all finished eating and with our drinks we walked to the lady and Sam paid. We walked out of Applebee's and to the car.  I got in the passenger seat and Colby got in the back and Sam got in and he drove off. I sat there and looked out the window. We got to their house and parked.  We got out and Colby walked inside the house while Sam and I stood outside his car.

"Hey, so I can take you home if you want." He said.

"Can I stay the night again?" I asked.

"Of course." He said. We walked inside and upstairs to his room. I live with one of my other friends out here in LA. He handed me a shirt and I grabbed it and walked to his bathroom and took my shirts and pants off and put on the oversized shirt that Sam gave me. I put my hair in a messy bun and I walked out and over to him and I sat on his bed.

"Thanks." I said.

"You're welcome." He said. He changed into basketball shorts and he sat beside me. "Sorry about Colby back at the restaurant. I know you wanted to sit beside me." He said.

"I did." I said. He got up and shut the door and he sat beside me.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"No, don't be." I said.

"I just can't help it." He said.

"I know." I said and laid down and he laid right beside me.

"It's late, we should sleep." He said. I nodded and pulled the blanket over us and fell asleep.

~ next day ~
I woke up and felt the bed was empty except for a piece of paper. I grabbed it and it read:

Sorry, I know I'm not there when you wake up. I had to go shoot a video. I didn't wanna wake you. I left you my car just in case you wanted to go out. Keys are on the desk xx. - Sam

I got out of bed and went and showered. I changed into a pair of white ripped skinny jeans, a My Chemical Romance tank top, a pair of VANS and my glasses. I left my hair straight. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed my bag and put my wallet in it and I walked downstairs and saw Devyn and Corey watching a movie in the living room.

"Do you guys wanna go do something?" I asked.

"We planned on kinda staying in." Devyn said sympathetically.

"It's cool. I'm gonna go to the mall." I said and walked upstairs and grabbed a paper and walked over to the desk and wrote on it that I was gonna go to the mall. I grabbed his keys and walked downstairs and out to his car. I got in and started it and drove off to the mall. I was stuck in traffic going to the mall. I hate sitting in traffic.

Eventually I got to the mall and I parked and got out and I walked inside after locking the car and I started walking around. I went to urban outfitters and looked around. I found a few things for me and some for Sam.

I was back at the house and the family was around the house. I walked upstairs and I walked into Sam's room and he was on his desktop watching a video with his headphones on. I set the bags down and he looked at me and smiled and paused the video and turned to me taking his headset off.

"Hey, you're back." He said. I nodded.

"Yes and I got you something." I said and handed him his bags. He grabbed them.

"You didn't have to." He said.

"I wanted to." I said. He looked through everything I bought him and he smiled.

"Thank you." He said hugging me. I hugged back.

"You're welcome." I said and pulled away.

"Have you eaten?" He asked.

"Not yet. No." I said.

"Want to go out to lunch?" He asked.

"Sure." I said. We walked downstairs and everyone saw us.

"Where y'all going?" Corey asked.

"Out." I said. They nodded and we left walked out to his car and got in. He started it and drove off. "I filled it with gas." I said.

"Thanks." He said. I nodded. He drove to Chili's and parked. We walked inside and they seated us immediately. We were looking at the menus. "So, today it's just us." He said.

"Thanks." I smiled. We sat there talking and practically catching up till the waiter came over.

"What can I get you for a drink?" He asked talking to me.

"Root beer." I said.

"And for you?" He asked writing it down.

"Pepsi." Sam said.

"Alright and do you want an appetizer?" He asked.

"Chips and salsa?" Sam asked looking at me.

"Yeah." I said. The guy nodded and wrote it down.

"Are you ready to order?" He asked.

"Yeah." We said and ordered.

"Alright, we are gonna have your appetizer out shortly." He said and took the menus and walked away. I looked at Sam to see he was already staring at me.

"Do I have something on my face?" I asked.

"No." He said. I nodded.

After an our two of being at Chili's we were finally leaving.

"Colby texted me saying there was something wrong at the house. Want me to drop you at your apartment?" He asked as we got in the car.

"Uh, I need to text my roommate back." I said and pulled my phone out and saw she texted me. I went to it and read it.

Jessie:
Hey, if you aren't gonna be home, you need to pack your shit and leave. I'll find another roommate.

Natalie:
Dude I have friends out here.

Jessie:
Then go and live with them.

I sighed and locked my phone.

"What's wrong?" He asked driving.

"Jessie, my roommate, wants me out of the house." I said.

"Alright, well, lets talk to the house and see if you can stay." He said.

"Okay." I said. We got to the house and he parked and we got out and walked inside.

"Guys, can I talk to you in the kitchen?!" He yelled. A few minutes later we saw everyone come downstairs. I was leaning against the pillar. They all stood around.

"What's up?" Elton asked.

"Well, her living situation had became bad. Is she able to live with us? I mean she can stay in my room." He said.

"Yeah, I'm down." Elton said and the others agreed.

"Awesome. So, we're gonna go get her stuff." He said.

"Alright." Elton nodded.

"When you get back I gotta talk to you." Colby said.

We were back at the house putting my stuff away in his room and it was already late. I laid on his bed still dressed in my day clothes. I was too tired to change. I closed my eyes and felt my shoes being taken off and a blanket come over me. The bed dipped in and I fell asleep.
