Chapter 13: Why I Started Wattpad

               {based on a true story *different names used}

        On February 11, 2017 I made a wattpad account I just read stories. One day I decided to write a story but now I have unpublished it because I am going to rewrite it. I decided to start this story because I want others to know they are not alone and everyone has problems. I was also inspired by one of my friends on wattpad to start my own story. I haven't been publishing a lot lately because I had finals and I had to study now I can publish more because I have summer break.

     I haven't told any of my friends that I made a story on wattpad and that is why I changed my friend's names and my teacher's names. I haven't made another story because before I write a story I decide to plan what I am going to write about. I never thought that my story would have many votes and reads. I met 2 of my good friends on this app. I love to write but I never had time to write a new chapter now I have time to write.

        I love to read many stories on this app. The main reason why I started is because I wanted to make sure everyone who read my story would know that many of you are not alone. I have similar problems like others but different. I had depression about a year ago but then I decided to live life more. I am a shy person when it comes to meeting new people but when I am with my friends they know me as a different person.

       I am proud of everyone who doesn't let something so small get in the way of life. Wattpad lets me express what I feel about many things by writing since I was little I wrote stories but I thought they were useless I threw them away. I regret throwing some of the stories I wrote away. I could spend hours writing and not even notice the time. Writing lets me express how I truly feel about issues happening at home, at school. Don't ever let people put you down you have to be strong.
 
        I always liked writing so when I saw the opportunity to write I decided it was time. Don't let people say things about you that aren't true you have to put a stop to it. If there are things I learned they are to not let people put you down you have to keep your head up I learned that from my mom who was humilated by my dad and his family for many years. People who caused harm to you eventually pay for everything they have done that is karma. I paid for many things in the past which I am not proud of but you have to live with your mistakes. Every mistake is a lesson learned.
