The Encounter (DROPPED)

Tired and restless from running, she felt something vibrating in her pocket. Remembering that her phone was in there, she decided to pick it up and abruptly stopped in the middle of the road when she read who the sender was. It was from Peter, he just dumped her through text.

The content read ~MOVE ON~.

And from that single message she got, she felt being stabbed a hundred times along with the pain it brought. Blaire didn’t even notice that she was about to be hit by a car. When she heard the honk noise from the car that was about to hit her she said to herself that she couldn’t handle the pain anymore and doesn't want to live anymore.

But a strange young fellow saw and realize what Blaire was trying to do did a brave act and quickly jumped in to save her from getting hit. Tumbling, rolling over like a wheel to the other side of the road, him hovering against the Blaire’s body in a protective position, looked down and shouted

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!",

but what he saw wasn’t the reaction he was expecting for. The girl was crying even though he just saved her life. The stranger carried her to a nearby park to calm and recollect herself.

Seated down on the park bench, Blaire apologized to the guy that saved her life with her head down and crying still. The stranger replied quickly without any hesitations

"Apology accepted".

Shocked that it was just as simply as that for him to accept her apology so quickly, she raised her head up and saw the stranger's face, he was not a total stranger at all because the person who saved her was her first boyfriend whom she loved the most in high school. Max greeted her the second time with a warm smile

"At last, I have found you".

Not knowing what to respond, Blaire stood up, and simply hugged him and whispered "Thank You".

Blaire by then has calmed down a little from the events incurred earlier and told Max what happened.
