Chapter 20.

This is the longest chapter everrrr!!!

Life can be miserable. Not everyone finds her Prince Charming. Not everyone finds his Cinderella. Not everyone has the right to love, and not getting it. Karma is a badass bitch. My past kills me and so does my present, now. What I did in the past is getting at me now. She wants to go away.

*Eight Hours earlier.*
"What do you want Jake?" I said gritting my teeth. I was furious right now. How dare he? He tried to threaten my Jane again! I'll rip him apart! He smirked. "If I see that filthy face of yours ever again in my house I'll wipe that smirk off your face." I growled. "But I have an information about Mark." He smirked again. He knew I wouldn't say anything to him when it comes to Mark. "What?" I asked. His smirk deepened even again. "He was spotted in Greece. You need to leave now. Meanwhile..." He was planning something evil.

"I can take care of Jane." He said and in a matter of seconds he was pinned against the wall with my hand gripping his neck. Still he kept smirking. "How dare you! If you do not stay away from my Jane you wish you weren't born! Jake you heard me? Stay away from my Jane!" I roared. "You...do not...know...her past...yet. Do you?" He asked choking. My grip tightened on him and yet he smirked. I wish I could kill him now but I desperately needed Mark and he knew where he was.

I left him finally. "I'll leave tomorrow. Hayden you are staying here to take care of my Jane." I ordered and he let out an audible groan. "You have a problem?" I glared. "No." He said.

I went inside to Jane's room and I heard a giggle. The door to her room was left ajar so, I looked inside. I saw a giggling Jane who was jumping on the bed and an empty bottle of vodka besides her. How did she get it? I am gonna kill my guards! "Jane?" I asked. "Miky!" She exclaimed happily. I felt so happy seeing her smile. "You know? You know? I just woke up from sleep and got drunk!" She further said. What?! "Baby, you need to stop drinking." I said. I was so worried about my Jane.

Before I could recollect what was happening Jane jumped on me. Her arms encircled my neck. I couldn't explain how I felt right now. I was so happy that I could sing. I never ever sing! I too held her by her waist so that she wouldn't fall down. "Miky, thank you for saving me from Jake." Then, Jane planted a lingering kiss on my cheeks. A smile spread on my cheeks. "Wow Mike! You look so cute when you smile." She slurred. My grin even widened. "Miky you know what?" She asked smiling a little. "What is it baby?" I asked back. "I was about to ask you something but I don't think you can give it to me." She said with a glint of sadness in her eyes.

"I can give you anything baby. Anything that will make you happy. Anything." I whispered in her ear. Her left cheek touching my right one. When I pulled back I could see my Jane going pink. Again, I smiled. "Miky, I want to go back. Back to my home. Back to Cole." She did not! "I am sorry baby, what?" I asked her. She looked in my eyes. "I wanna go back." She repeated, a little slowly this time and laid her head on my shoulder, closing her eyes and going back to sleep.

*Present.*
I sat in my private jet, leaving for Greece. Mark, you're gone. I was so angry. I snapped at everyone, Hayden, almost all my guards, Chloe, Ryan and even Isa. She began crying.

"Uncle, I want to eat pancakes. Ryan says we can only have bread and bacon today. Tell him that I want to eat pancakes." I looked down to see Isa tugging to the sleeve of my blazer. "Do whatever you want Isa. Stop disturbing me all the time. I won't be helping you always." I snapped at her. Her eyes widened and almost immediately tears started pouring her eyes. "Uncle... I... did not do anything." She weeped. I sat down on my knees. "Shh... Isa. I am sorry. Uncle is sorry." I cooed but she continued crying and rubbing her little eyes. Luckily Ryan came to my rescue and took Isa away.
