Jane's POV.

Two whole weeks since I last saw Mike. The weird thing is that I missed him. I missed his voice. I missed sleeping on that soft comfortable bed. I missed his gaze on me. I missed everything. Can't he kidnap me once again? Please! This time I won't try to run. I would not trouble Mike even once. I wouldn't say that I am a prisoner. I will not trouble him.

The bell at the door of the parlour rang signalling that someone had come. I looked over to see who it was. It a boy of around fourteen. He was a brunette who had beautiful eyes and nice hair. He looked exactly like Ryan, or may I say it was Ryan. It was Ryan!

"Miss Jane?" He looked at surprised as me. "Ryan! What are you doing here!" I exclaimed happily. "Miss Jane, this is supposed to be an ice cream parlour. We can't wash our clothes here." Ryan laughed. "How's Isabelle?" I acquire. "She has been crying a lot lately." He answered. "What?! And Mike let her?" I exclaimed.

"He's worse. He has been snapping on anyone everyone ever since you left. He is always angry and mad. He has turned worse than before. Earlier he was different at home and at work but lately he's all the same. According to Hayden more than hundred employees have been fired. He gets mad at every little thing. He has changed. He forgot to laugh." Ryan said sadly. Tears brimmed in his eyes.

Ting! That was the light bulb in my mind that just clicked.

Mike's POV

It had been two weeks since I last saw my Jane. Two whole weeks! I had been snappy towards everyone, Hayden, Chloe, Ryan, Isa.. just everyone. It is for the good isn't it?

It is actually good that my Jane left. She was making me weak. I actually began to smile. I began to laugh. I was becoming soft, happy. I was changing. I did not want to become what I was becoming. I had seen my mother fall weak in love, now I know what it feels like.

And I am not going to change anymore. Not anymore. Even if she comes back. Wait? Come back? She isn't coming back Mike. Never now. Never again.

I had fired many of my employees in last month. Not that I did care. I had kind of lost my senses, all I kept thinking was Jane, Jane and Jane.

All I thought was her smile, her laughter, her eyes and ugh... it starts again. I wouldn't be able to forgive anyone, God. Mom left me. Dad did after Sarah was born. Sarah left me and now Jane.

I wouldn't forgive her even if she's back.

But will she be back?
