"Owww" I said. Leilani was scratching the shit out my face. But she just laughed at me.

"That's my daughter" Nani said. We were at lunch just us two and her mean ass Daughter.

"Where's kee?"

"With Deon. They went to have a guys day out."

"Who bought you that?" I said referring to the ring on her finger

"Deon. I had this since last year"

"You and his mama friends yet?"

"No. I let Deon bring Lani to her house. She swear I'm stingy with my baby or I'm Tryna keep his family away from Lani. You see her your mom see her. That's enough for me. My baby don't need fake ass love from fake ass people" Nani said

"You ain't stingy at all and you right. You don't like all them people around Lani. Where you wanna go next." I asked

"Wanna go to salon?"

"Omg yes. I haven't visited in forever"

As far as the salon we decided to turn it over to Tara. She has been doing great. She renamed it and has two locations now. We finished up and headed over there.

"Hey ladies" I cheered as I walked in. It was beautifully decorated. It was pink and white but very organized.

"Omg" Tara said hugging me.

"Hey" Nani said carrying Lani in

"That the baby" Tara cooed

"Yeah. She scratches be careful " Nani said sitting down

"She's beautiful" one of the employees said

"Ou she mean like her mother. She don't smile"

"I am very nice" Nani said looking through the hair style book

"I just want something simple" I told her. "I think I want blonde weave"

"Alright. Go to chair 5" Tara said

"What about you ms.thang?"

"Install the Weave" Nani said

We were in the salon all day and Lani started getting cranky around the time she finished my hair. I took Lani home and to my surprise Kyra was there.

"You moving back in?"

"Uh no. Just grabbing a few more things" she said

"Oh Okay. I'm going upstairs. Lock the door on your way out" i bathed Lani and she fell asleep after. Deon and Keon came in about an hour later and I bathed him too.

"How was your day?" Deon said laying in the bed

"Get out my bed with your outside clothes"

"My bad."

"Tomorrow I work an overnight you gonna be able to watch them tomorrow"

"No I gotta work. And I'm starting school again"

"Oh that's good" I said picking at my nails

"What's bothering you?" He asked taking off his shirt

"Nothing at all"

"Do you need me to take tomorrow off. I mean I can"

"It's fine."

"There's nothing to talk about"

"Whatever" he kissed his teeth

"Yup. Whatever" I said

"Do You need me to take tomorrow off or not"

"I can't. She's in jail" he said getting up and walking out.

Oh wow. He means Giana. He cheated on me with Giana. What the fuck? I called Kay and she came right over

"I trusted them both" I sniffled

"I'm so stressed. I have to take care of 2 babies and I lost my job but I don't wanna tell Deon. I've been filling out applications like crazy. It's ridiculous. My life is going downhill. Lia is usually good at this stuff" I cried a little more

"Work at that other hospital. I know they're hiring"

"I applied and they haven't gotten back to me" I wiped my face

"Didn't Giana leave money" she asked

"I don't wanna use that. Until I send him to school"

"Well you have me Babes. If you need anything I'll be here" I nodded. She checked on the kids for me and then left
