I accidentally stayed up all night again.
What can I say? Brother Bear turned into Tarzan, which turned into The Princess and the Frog, which somehow turned into Toy Story... Which turned into the sunrise, I guess. It was worth it, though.
I'll be the first to admit that repressing my emotions isn't exactly foreign to me. After all, it's my job to put up a strong front! It's not exactly heroic to burst into tears in front of a bunch of people, you feel?
My point is that watching Disney movies is definitely something that gets the waterworks flowing. Makes me miss good ol' Walt, for one thing. For another, it gives me a little taste of that modern, American childhood experience. Kids these days are raised on Disney movies. They learn life lessons from and grow to love the characters. Definitely something I wish I had when I was growing up.
But, hey! It's not like my life hasn't always been chock-full of weirdo characters, so I've got nothing to complain about! I only wish my life lessons had come a little easier, y'know?
Anyway, I'm gonna go grab some Starbucks. I have some boring meeting I have be at at around noon, and if I fall asleep now, there's no way I'll wake up in time.
