Amy: "I see myself as a mother to them. Strict but loving... wait Grant said what about me?!"
The Senior technician. Amy has been around for 2 years. And in time has grown a pessimistic  outlook on the war and her job. However amongst her other coworkers she can be seen as a motherly figure, if not one with a short fuse and dangerous if provoked attitude. At worst Amy can be abrasive and bossy. However Ernest and Grant will have had to piss her off very bad that day in order to get her to that place. She's also pretty rational in comparison to her friends and tries to be the mediator whenever she's not the one causing the argument,

Ernest: "Oh my gosh! That was amazing! Could we do that again though. I wasn't recording"
True to his name Ernest is upbeat, cheery and optimistic. He seems to love working with machines and with Amy and Grant who he calls his best friends. Ernest seems to really believe what he is doing is helping other people so he and Amy often but heads. Ernest as a child suffered the loss of his home world. Leaving it glassed like the other planets he and his friends now try to restore. Ernest had a major battle with himself over his identity but came out stronger for it, however his confidence suffered and is suffering making him rather inept in social situations. Ernest has a tendency to over romanticize somethings and his peppy nature can border on irritating, but whenever you need someone he is always there. Whether you like it or not.

Grant: "Sorry unless this is TNT, Therapy or Jack Daniels, I'm not interested in your gimmicky prize"
Grant is the other worker with Amy and Ernest. Usually the middle man between his friend's. Grant like Amy has some pessimistic views, however his outlook borders on nihilistic. Grant can clearly go through the motions on certain days, but it's clear he isn't a fan of that. However his often cynical view lends itself to his dry wit, snark and gallows humor. While Amy and Ernest sometimes worry about their coworker Grant has made it clear he is fine enough and wants to keep doing the work they do hoping it will give him a sense of purpose.

Celeste: "Remember Im just here when ya need me. Don't go thinking you can piggy back off my awesomeness all the time."
The Military Consort/Defender  for Amy, Ernest and Grant. Celeste is not always with them but when she is also acts as a voice of reason. Her job requires that she defend her friends should some of the planets they go to become to hostile for three technicians without any combat training. She has a sort of spunk and leadership skill that helps her deal with her group of friends. She has known Ernest specifically since they were young and has loved him for awhile, but she worries about their future and so keeps it hidden from him. Celeste seems to know a lot more than she lets on, and it can make her friends more than alittle uneasy

?????: "I did what I had to do. It's just part of my job after all"
Little is known about this figure. She seems to be another consort like Celeste. And seems to have a history with Celeste as well. Small bits of audio gathered from a Liang Dortmund facility shows she used to work with 3 other technicians. She is a mystery to most and would probably prefer to stay that way.
