Nico's POV:
I exited the taxi and looked up at Grimmauld place. It was nothing special. Just your average London apartment complex. But what really caught my eye was a... kind of "shadow" where another apartment was supposed to be.
Well, I guess that's where I'm supposed to go. But how do I get in? I spent a good five minutes studying the shadow when a young man with messy black hair and emerald green eyes stepped out of a doorway, suddenly revealing a completely new apartment. "Hullo," he greeted. "I'm Harry. Harry Potter." Extending his hand, he smiled. Reluctantly, I slowly reached to shake his hand. "Well? Let's go inside, shall we?" He waved at the apartment labeled Twelve, Grimmauld Place. I followed him inside. Harry frowned. "Not very talkative, are you?" I grinned dryly.
"No, not really." I took a deep breath. Percy stepped down the stairs, Annabeth right behind him. There was another girl with brown hair that looks like a mop head and a boy with extremely pale skin, freckles, and hair so red, it looked like his skull was on fire.
"Hermione Granger and Ron Weasely, I take it?" The two wizards nodded in confirmation. Ron laughed and said, "I'm glad McGonnagal got that painting of Sirius's mom out of here. Sure, she had to take out the wall surrounding it, but we can finally get down these stairs without hearing the painting of that old hag screaming about Mudbloods and Blood-traitors every time someone walks past it." Hermione shuddered. "I was half-tempted to find her grave and slap her corpse."
Confused, I shook my head, not knowing what they were talking about. "Anyway," I said, trying to change the topic of conversation to why I called this meeting of worlds. "I'm sure you all know why I pushed for us to meet?" I inquired. Shaking their heads, I just sighed. "This is why Chiron didn't want to talk to his cousin Firenze, isn't it? He refuses to give all the information that you need..." Anticipating this, I pulled out one of Leo's holographic scrolls from my backpack. "This contains a dream I had a while ago. The only reason I am sharing this is because it holds potentially world-ending information." I glanced at Percy. He looked frustrated, understandably, but he also looked deadly serious. I felt some heat in my cheeks, so I looked away. "Harry, there is an old friend of yours who wanted to give you a message, too." I pulled another scroll out of my pack. I handed it to him. "Open it in private. For your ears only." Harry only nodded.
Unraveling the scroll, we all leaned over it. Immediately, a man appeared on the magical paper. He had a head of silver hair and a beard, both long enough to be tucked into his belt. He wore a blue robe with a diamond pattern. He had twinkling eyes behind half-moon glasses. They shone with mischief and wisdom. But his expression was one of deadly seriousness.
"Son of Hades. I am Albus Dumbledore. Listen closely, for enemies of unthinkable power is drawing near. He has made an alliance with an old enemy of mine. I will tell you the name of my adversary, but you already know the other. You have traversed him yourself. The creature coming your way, for he is no longer a man, let alone mortal, goes by the name Lord Voldemort. Beware his power. He will not be defeated easily, nor will the other. Both of them will not hesitate to kill you, as you alone can finally vanquish Voldemort, and the god coming your way is, obviously, unkillable, but as he will not be in his "home court," as you would say, you will be able to banish his essence and destroy his consciousness utterly. Fail, and the world itself will be nonexistent. Chaos himself would not create anything in the void that will form in that possible future's wake. Another man, an old colleague of mine will come shortly with another message."
Dumbledore faded, leaving a man with greasy hair, a hooked nose, and a permanently sour expression took his place. "Hello, Son of Hades. Tartarus himself and my old master will stop at nothing to kill you. You must gather a group of our kind, the wizards Harry Potter, Ronald Weasely, and Hermione Granger, as well as your comrades Perseus Jackson and Annabeth Chase. I am telling you more than I should, but only you six can defeat these enemies. Please, heed my warning. I am bound to defend the child of the one I love. I care not for the world, but I do not wish it destroyed. Good bye, child. Do not fail." The scroll blinked once, and the feed ended.
