Harry's POV:

"Two worlds must come together,

To end the Pit's evil endeavor,

Heroes by blood or might,

Blood or peace, the end in sight."

A weird redheaded chick is introduced to us, suddenly starts spewing green smoke and speaking both English and Parseltongue at the same time, and proceeds to collapse on the spot. And I'm supposed to be okay with it? Suddenly I realize that questioning these events is long overdue.

"I don't know who you are and what the hell you're supposed to be, but I think I may have had enough of... Whatever this is. I just want to live my life. All I want to do is be an Auror. I don't want to fight wars with dark whatevers, and I certainly don't want to see Voldemort again! Now if you kindly leave my house, I have to calm the giant migraine you gave me!"

Storming off to my room, I sit on the bed. Holding my head in my hands, I hear a long, stressful sigh escape my lips. Why does it always seem like I have to deal with this stuff?

"Probably because you are the only one who can, Harry." Jumping, I find myself standing, wand ready, the tip pointing at none other than Albus Dumbledore himself.

"Professor?" Lowering my wand, I realize my jaw is hung open. I close it, somewhat awkwardly, and sit back down. Dumbledore merely chuckles, closing his eyes in confirmation.

"Yes, Harry. And before you ask, no, I haven't come back to life. Nor am I a ghost. At least... Not in the traditional sense. The two worlds are merging, Harry. You have passed the point of no return. Death and Thanatos have merged... Wizards are flooding into Erebos, and Hades' realm is in an uproar. You may have already witnessed the magic of the young redheaded girl, Miss Dare, merge with our world's." If it was possible to sink farther into the bed, I probably would have.

"What do we do, Professor? How do we stop it?" I took a few shaky breaths as Dumbledore simply smiled at me, the twinkle in his eyes bright as ever.

"I think you know already that stopping this process is impossible, young Harry. But to make the most of it, you must unite with these new allies of yours. The Fates control our destinies now." Dumbledore sighed heavily, then flickered as if he was a television image losing signal.

"Professor?!"

The ghost chuckled, saying, "It seems my allotted time has come to an end. Farewell, Harry, and good luck!"

Author's Note:

Hello, all! I know it's been quite a while, and I've been inactive for far too long. I think I should come out completely, anyway... I'm saving up for hormone replacement therapy and sexual rassignment surgery. Writing is now a five-minute luxury, but I'm determined to finish all my stories!
