Howdy, all!! I'm so happy I'm getting readers! *squeals* I'm gonna try to get more uploaded more often. Also, I think this book will have like thirty chapters, maybe more? I don't know yet. But I want this to be a really good book. Please, I both thank and expect criticism for my work, to make me a better writer. Comment any spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors you find. I pride myself on my skills as a writer (plus I'm kind of a perfectionist...), and I miss stuff sometimes. Thank you!!!! And please:

Stay sassy, you demigods and wizards!!!!
My first thought when I braked was, Did some British demigod shadow-travel here? My next thought was, OH, MY GODS, I RAN SOMEONE OVER!!!! Annabeth and I practically flew out of the car, getting out to check on the potentially hurt person under the rental.
"Oh, gods, Percy..." Annabeth whispered as we, as gently as possible, extracted the boy from under the hood. Thankfully, nothing looked broken, but he had a huge bump on his head. His messy hair parted to reveal a lightning-bolt shaped scar on his forehead. Is that natural, or some weird body mod thing? I wondered. Annabeth looked ghostly pale in the bleach-like color from the headlights.
"At least there's nothing broken. Even his glasses look fine... Dam, Annabeth, and to think I almost threw up my pizza!" I laughed, as Annabeth tried to glare at me, but failed epically. "Let's get him to a hospital anyway. He might have a concussion," she told me. Nodding, I hooked one arm under the Knockout Boy's, and Annabeth the other. As we lifted, a polished wooden stick fell out from his back pocket. Curious, Annabeth and I placed Knockout Boy in the back seat. I headed back out to the street to pick up the stick. It looked like a prop from some role-playing game like Dungeons and Dragons. It was made of a reddish-brown wood, like maybe holly, and it had a really nice handle, made of polished, yet completely natural bark. It was roughly a foot long. Nice prop, man! I thought as Annabeth got in the driver's seat. "Hey!" I protested. Annabeth successfully glared at me this time.
"Oh, no you don't, Seaweed Brain! You just ran someone over. I'm driving." Her tone of voice was final, and I wasn't about to argue with a child of Athena. Halfway to the hospital, however, Knockout Boy started awake. "Who the hell are you, and where am I?"

Hello, my good readers!! I'm so happy!!! I got this done in less than an hour! I know, it's about 425 words or so, but I'm currently at school, which, for now, is the only place I can write. (Haha, oh the irony.) I hope you enjoy my story!! And again, please put any criticisms in the comments section.
