I walk down the stairs which got me many stares. Hehe, get it? Because the stairs and the stares and yeah...I'll stop now.
"Ethel!" Falon says cheerfully.
I wave awkwardly. "Hey Falon."
Damion smirks, "Is the princess not gonna say hi to the rest of us?"
I sigh, "Hi Damion."
"Doesn't look like she will, will she Damion?" A blonde boy says. He has bright bluish eyes with a small smile. "Hi there love, I'm Derrick. It's a pleasure to meet you. I heard I'm the last one you haven't met?"
"Right." I say.
"No hello for me?" Jeremiah laughs.
"Hi Jerry."
The whole table of guys laugh, "She already knows to call you Jerry huh?" Xavier smiles and takes his seat. I notice that there are two seats that have people missing. Mine and...Cadmar's.
I sit in mine which is conveniently placed by the stairs. "So...what're we eating for dinner?"
"Tonight it's gallus gallus domesticus with a side of zea mays." Jerry says, pushing his glasses up. The whole table snickers.
"Jerry, she don't understand your nerd word yet. Talk normally." Damion smiles.
"I meant chicken with some corn." Jerry grouches. "So I heard how Ethel and you met Damion. She gave me all the naked details."
Damion blushes, "O-Oh what do you mean? Ohhhhhh when I walked in on her. Hehe, it was quite the view."
"You didn't see anything!" I growl.
"I know but still, you were right there." Damion smiles.
"You saw her in the shower?" Cadmar sits down.
Silence settles over the table. "I didn't see anything Cadmar. I swear it." Damion ducks his head.
Cadmar looks to me, "Is it true?"
"He walked in but didn't see anything. I threw a loofa at him as soon as he walked in." I say, feeling heat creeping up her face.
"Love, you look adorable with that blush on." Derrick smiles. "Oh wait, that blush is all natural."
The guys laugh, "You guys are dumb!"
"Yes we are. But Jerry over there is pretty smart." Xavier laughs. "And Derrick, you are so right. I should've put some blush on her. But she wouldn't allow it. Only lipstick she says. I think she looks good all natural though. What do you think sweetheart?"
"I don't know!" I grumble.
"Aw, don't be grumpy! Guys don't be so harsh the first time meeting!" Falon says.
"We aren't being harsh Falon." They all mumble except Cadmar, who is really focused on his plate.
"Do you like your room?" Cadmar asks.
"Yes, it's nice. And Baron loves it!"
Cadmar looks up at me with a smile, "Good."
Damion nudges Xavier and says something to make Xavier's eyes light up. Xavier nods. "So, Cadmar, are the Females coming tomorrow?"
Cadmar growls, "I'm not sure if I want the Females here anymore. Not since that woman moved in."
"What?!?" All the men gasp.
"They won't come because that female moved in? She scared away the others?" Damion growled.
"DID YOU JUST CALL ME THAT FEMALE?!?" I yell.
