Kanae

prologue

             Think of a world that separates mankind from the supernatural. A world where mankind has never seen magic. And a wall that separates humans from Majikku (Majikku are people with magical abilities that no human could ever dare possess). My name is Kanae, I live with my big brother Hiroshi, my mother and father. I am a 13-year-old girl and my only dream is to break down the wall that separates human and Majikku.

              Living on the other side of this wall is like being in a cage, I was told when I was little that humans could not see this wall. That the planet to them looked as though it was sliced in half. So many have tried to break the wall down, they trained for years, some time it was a group of people but every time they failed. Eventually people gave up because any one who tried to break the wall died. Not from some mystery but because of the spell that I was placed on the wall hundreds of years ago. And now almost every day I walk to this wall and on the other side, I see all these huge buildings, kids running around, playing, laughing, I also see a boy my age black hair glasses always dressed so nicely, always looking where the humans believe the world ends, but instead of looking over the gate it's like he sees me, I've never waved to prove what I thought I was scared, afraid that one of the guards that watched the perimeter of the wall, would spot me and report me to the master of our society.
